Well he isnt wrong. All I can see from AMA riders practice on smooth groomed tracks. MXGP riders wait until track get rough before they practice.

Is Hughes right? How many of us don't ride in the rain anymore? I don't, don't like the mess of cleaning up the bikes after. But this was me in the early 00's at Bremen. I remember vividly how badly I wanted to ride that day, in spite of light rain and 40 degree temps. When I rolled up that Saturday I was the only person there other than the gate lady. She said ma'am you can ride for free today, knock yourself out!

Take out service fees of 1,500 , hack your cc & I pay 4,900 in tolls 30 days after I quit. Say it’s 50k shorted in 4 months , high interest & penalties. Make it 3 1/4 times more. I understand Lewis Phillips' frustration with the comments. But I do not understand the reaction, perhaps it is cultural, him being British. Complaints about the performance you are giving are opportunities to improve your performance, they are not complaints against you personally, because obviously these people do not know you. Comments people give may be bullshit but looked at critically they may be a way to hone his craft if looked at insightfully or critically. Moto journalism is absolute garbage. The side effect is now anyone with a wifi connection and an iPhone thinks they can slot right into the journalism sphere of influence. so you get all the youtube slop we have now. Feld controls the whole thing now anyway.

This is most logical solution I’ve heard that satisfies everyone. Anyone who wants shorter motos won’t care if the race isn’t live. Anyone who wants to keep 30 min motos won’t care if they can’t watch on NBC and have to stream through an app.

If NBC wants to cut down the moto length, just do that via delay and show on NBC broadcast for the casual/non fan. Keep the full length and stream live on Peacock for us fans.

Not diggin’ it &I’m starting to NOT care about the opinions of those that only care about what is good for T.V. Want to see moto on TV? Well, guess what? Supercross is virtually “Made for T.V.” So… Please stop telling us we need to change Outdoor Motocross in order to make “good T.V.”
