seems strange Sexton's dad is not mentioned in any of this? He was a regular participant as an intermediary supposedly detailing Chase's requests on bike setup and appearing to share some of the thinking between rider and team. Some people thought it should be directly between rider and team without dad in the middle.

Yeah. Wake me up when Zooki MXGP/MX2 return happens. So far the last who dared to represent the Yellow in FIM MX World Championship was the legend, the GOAT, the only Florent Lambillon several years back if i'm not mistaken...

Yamaha shutting down their MX2 support is wild considering they have 6 factory 250 riders for supercross, not counting another 12 Yamaha 250's supported through Club, Partzilla, and Solitare. AMA supercross has 27 factory 250 + 20 factory 450 rides! Compare that to 11 factory MX2 + 15 factory MXGP.

Yeah, its pretty crazy. Yamaha runs like 8 or 9 250 riders in the US on the factory side. But none in Europe? Wonder how much of the Star 250 program is funded by Yamaha versus the team owner? Are there really that many more dirt bikes and gear sold in the US such that it justifies how much larger the investment is here in terms of teams, rides, sponsors, etc.?

I heard from a local parts guy that, honda & kawasaki are sharing a cargo ship for the new 450 and 327….apparently it ran out of diesel fuel and is drifting towards the gulf of America….

Battery tech moves fast indeed, your two examples just are a bit unfortunate. GMG is real and may begin commercialization in a year or so however their tech is not suitable for an electric dirt bike (at current prototype specs it would require a 70 kg battery). And Donut are just snake oil salesmen.

10/6/2026 1:24pm Sorry but Donut claims are all proven fake so far and seems they are just milking private support money with empty promises. There are several youtube videos about their story and handmade batteries they have tested are not solid state batteries.
