When will the KX327 be available in dealers? I don’t ride anymore but this bike is calling my name and it may be time for a return.
I was told early December when I put my deposit down on one in June. I’ve heard late November/early December since then. The videos from this past week don’t make the waiting any easier! If you want one I would call around to local shops and see how many deposits have been taken already. There is lots of uncertainty on how many bikes each dealer is getting but I’ve been told that each dealer is getting a max of 2 KX327 and 2 KX327X on the first order. Not sure when the second wave is coming and how they will distribute them.
Thank you! Great info.
RV sure got lathered up over it. My money says he is not just talking. The KX450F is a good motorcycle, 300cc+ engine can be made to push a dirt bike as fast as anything in the world. Variable port timing, EFI, bold, well-tested pipe design will give shocking torque/grunt, anus-clinching midrange pull and terrifying on-the-pipe experience.
lol what do you think the Kawasaki ambassador is gonna say about the bike?
My opinion the bike did not look strong in the video of RV riding it. Every ‘power wheelie’ he did was forced and required effort. People need to temper expectations I think. This bike is not going to be a fire breathing monster. It’s going to be a linear, smooth if somewhat underwhelming power imo.

I’d rather it be rideable than a stock fire breather, personally.
This is what I saw, and told myself
It sounded like a 2 stroke sounds when the power valve isn't opening all the way.
I'm waiting to see one with a race pipe, high comp head, and race gas. Then I think it will want to stand right up and salute. The Beta 300s are like that.
I would plan on January, Feb. Limited quantities due to oversold production
i just put a deposit down last Friday in San Diego area on the X. Dealer said they get 3 x'es total, two in December and one in Feruary. I didnt ask about the mx version.
I noticed the rpm sound and was wondering if that’s related to fuel injection. I very briefly had the first husky fuel injected 125 and it was similar if I remember correctly.
That’s why it needs mods - mapping, ecu, pipe silencer, porting head mods, intake, etc. Maybe even a big bore kit to punch it up to 350-360. 😎
Yeah I noticed that too. Also the chassis looks bound up, not very compliant. Hopefully someone is working on a steel frame conversion.
I doubt any magazine, website, or YTer will feature a fully modded “race ready” 2t, equal to a fully modded race ready 4t.
I think it's pretty clear this bike was built to satisfy the off-road crowd first, with the X version and the MX version was built from that framework.
My guess is that KTM/Husky sell off-road 300s at a rate of 5:1 compared the the MX 300s. Kawasaki knows this.
