Quick update, I converted my 24 over to all the 26+ plus settings (cdi, airboot, airbox, carb settings). I was running T2 VP with the stock jetting 65p, 178main, 90pj (95 is stk), and n3ew-2. Yamaha finally sorted out the jetting I would say it’s slightly better than diggers settings. The CCL needle seemed to give the bike a more pronounced hit over the 26 settings. May need to increase the main to a 182.

Revisited pro circuits settings for pump gas. I’d say it’s a fairly close baseline to start. It was around 60-70° for me outside. Pilot is spot on, found myself jumping between clip position from 3-4. Bike seemed slightly lean up top. I was going to test a 168 main until it snapped off in the carb. There did seem to be a very fine window of adjustment on the airscrew. I was using the newer airscrew which comes in the y4 kit which has a steeper taper. 1) People massively overstate the "hassles" of jetting a 2 stroke. I live and ride at 4500ft and routinely go down to seal level and I do not need to rejet for it. Once you get a good baseline setting it works well across a very broad range. And this is with the Mikuni (on multiple bikes) that everyone swears is so difficult to jet. 2) Even if jetting was a massive hassle, it's frikkin hilarious that people bitch about a few $5 pieces of brass but yet somehow downplay the need to buy $1,000 ECU, TPS tool, frequent trips...
