It’s as bad as it looks on the track map. What were they thinking?

This isn't 1996 - these days none of the top riders (or even the non top riders) have a problem with big jumps in either series.

Pretty sure they removed it so they could sell more VIP spots.

Yeah its not even the biggest jump at ironman. That tabletop in the middle is fucking huge and the quad in the back, not to mention the "triple" in the finish line section deegan hit which, according to the track map, looks like its going to be doable? Tbh I feel like they may have removed it more because of the "blind" factor of it? I don't think it was because of the size of the jump.

Is the removal of Godzilla definitely because of MXON? As people have said, plenty of MXON tracks in recent years have had huge jumps. Don't forget that Ironman had that fucking MASSIVE jump after Godzilla that was also taken out and that had nothing to do with MXON.

This is probably the lamest thing that's happened all season. Godzilla is massive, but it's a tabletop...that's literally the safest type of massive jump there is.

I don't see why they would remove it for MXON. If I remember Ernee has the gigantic uphill jump they didn't remove, and I'm pretty sure that quad at Matterly Basin was huge to. Not sure if its on the same level as Godzilla though, someone who's better versed I'm sure will say.

Wait they really took it out of MXON? I thought they treat that like Mt Martin where its only open on pro day to save amateurs from hurting themselves. It’s wild that at a local pro level guys love the yz & kx bikes but factory teams in both US & Europe are struggling with them. Jago, Renaux, Tomac, Seewar, Evans, Prado, Benistant, Elzinga all struggle with set up & being dialed in all the time & that’s just off the top of my head. Where Honda locally is not that well liked but factory guys seem pretty good on them.

Remember when JS7 was going to shred MCs record? I still think if 4s never entered the chat, Stew would've taken down 72 wins... ...but back on topic. JS7 was basically a shoe-in, and he won A LOT in his first 4-5 years in the class. I just think to average 6-7 wins for a decade is hard to do anymore. I can see him getting to the 40's, maybe even the 50's... but he's still 14 wins away at 59 wins. I think it is just too far away.
