I just hope this guy can live a normal life after racing. He has taken some massive hits over the years.

It made me sad to think of how he was smoking Deegan 3 years ago and now he’s finishing last in the 250 Motos outdoors. I think he’s over it.

It's crazy that just a few short years ago he was the fastest guy on the track by a sizable margin. He was always so silky smooth until he catastrophically wasn't. Sucks that injuries likely robbed this guy of a longer career.

Definitely crashed in moto 1, he was around 20th early in the moto (but also didn't move forward?), dropped back to like 35th and didn't finish the moto. Moto 2 he was dead last on timings a lap in, got to like 29th I think, he was 8-9 seconds slower a lap than the top guys though. I don't know. He got only a couple finishes inside the top 10 last year (with one top 5th overall) and was riding around in 15-20 most of the weekends. He is tough as nails and has certainly every right to be out...

You teenagers can't even enjoy good racing anymore. Complain about the broadcast every minute, the announcing, the speed of the bikes and now Deegan will be mentioned for 60 min +4 every weekend.

I’m blown away by the fact they shaved 4 seconds (J) and 7 seconds (H) off the fastest laps in the second moto when the track was in worse shape. These freaking guys are aliens at this level.

Good christ, this is not even a discussion. Let's talk in 5 years, Jett can't even compile consecutive 450 SX/MX seasons yet without injury, so let's just stop this for now. No mistake Jett is brilliant, but this discussion is for another day in the future. RC is to be lauded not just for winning, but also dependability.

RC had 10 straight outdoor titles from his rookie year to when he retired, RC never lost in an outdoor season that he competed in.

Going to be really interesting next year watching him & Herlings both on Honda. I expect Vialle to be a legit contender. * I remember when both these lads Dads were racing although Peter was older than Frederic so they never raced each against other. Still very nice to see the boys of ex GP guys duking it out and carrying on their families legacies of excellence .

Ironically it was success in Supercross that led to this situation, when everyone expected he’d be winning MX titles.
