I had the same feeling today…. But apparently lacking the durability of RC.

Such similar styles for sure.

Fastest in qualy, smokes everyone in moto 1, passes the best in moto 2, crashes and potentially breaks his collarbone, gets up and gaps the field again to win. What a savage!

I agree, he does ride like RC. He rides on the ragged edge. 

He's fine on the durability front. Never missed a moto in 2025 and 2026 and I'm pretty sure his crash count is in the triple digits by now

Yeah, I see it too. He did remind me on Carmichael a few times today. 

Most entertaining 250 races I've seen for some time. He would have given Deegs fits. He rips in sand, that's for sure. I hope we get him full time next year.

Magoo was the first thing that came to mind for me too.

He made me a fan. Snap your collarbone and still win the moto. So bad ass. Really hope they’re here full time next year.

I disagree on the durability part. Given how many times he's lawn darted himself, if he were Jett or Herlings, he'd be out for the next two seasons. I hope he didn't break his collarbone. I hope this detour doesn't derail his MXGP campaign.

He was so fun to watch this weekend. 
We need him to come here for good. 

Obviously it got him to a high level but if his dad is truly encouraging him to push it to the edge at all times it’s just bad parenting. Learn from your idol Stew and check your ego to back it down a notch

This is true in their family, if he wins with 30sec gap but he isn’t tired he did ride hard enough. 

The last time I saw a face like that was from Baggett taking a look at Herlings at Ironman 2017, funny as fuck 😂

The reality is, he'd backed it down - the track bit him, shit happens. 

I've had a lot of respect for both of those boys for quite a few years , and after watching yesterday , that respect went to a new level. Sasha mops the floor with everyone , goes down and breaks his collar bone, no goggles and still wins. That is true Grit right there. His ability to just freakin' Send it every where kept me on the edge of my seat. Incredible to watch! 

Sacha, made the race exciting. Pushing the limits and watching what he’s going to do next. Just awesome!!

belgians and dutch are pound for pound the hardest racers in the world in any discipline. i don't know why or what it is, but it's sort of undeniable. 

I don't follow MXGP (probably should) so no real exposure to the Coenen's, but that first 250 moto I couldn't believe what I was seeing.  The speed from Sasha and nearly binning it every second corner was crazy to watch.

It was as if the Looney Tunes Tassy Devil was riding the bike.  Hope they end up coming to the US permanently.
