Never used propress either. Of course I'm an old timer and that stuff wasn't available when I was doing residential work. Seems like solder would be just as quick and the fittings are way cheaper but like i said, never used it.

Have you had any luck using the slip couplings/unions? I have never used one. Relying on O rings on a buried pipe makes me nervous.

I made the mistake of using PVC on an industrial application. I will never do that again. The problem is always at the transition. But holy shit! the price for 1 1/2" copper pipe, fittings and valves? I'm glad I'm aging out of this business.

I get why ML banned politics. He doesn't need 30 emails a day about trivial bullshit. I also get why he does not patrol non moto for rule breakers. I guess I'm just a bit frustrated because I do like to discuss current events that many times include politics.
