Webb was far and away our best finisher and to be honest he should have been our worst. He really stepped up. He rode amazing and got great starts. To do that on a new bike with no time is amazing. Thanks to kitchen and beaumer for giving it their all, huge respect for doing what so many others ducked away from.

I care less about being competitive and more about being represented by proud patriots.

Webb has stood up to represent USA, over and over. Many times in less than ideal conditions, too. He doesn't cherry pick when it's convenient or beneficial. So he deserves a ton of respect. He's real, it's not just for show. I understand there is a financial side to it, a risk/reward also. But through Webb's whole career, he makes it known that he wants to go and he will do whatever the team needs. He deserves a lot of credit for that.

He's the man. Simple as that.

Factory supported Team Tedder Husky? Yes! He'll have very little time on it, but hell yeah! Send someone who actually wants to go. Probably will be Webb's last ever MX race too. Go out with a bang!

I was not a Cooper Webb fan at all, but when all the other riders were making excuses to not go, Webb stepped up to 450 and raced anyway , made them all look stupid, he got the memo about why you never say no. Then again he steps up to ride the 250 at Matterley Basin, having not ridden one for 6(?) years. You dont forget stuff like that.

I've been following the MXoN since the first one I attended in 2006 at Matterly Basin when I was 14 years old. In those years, it was USA vs the world. When America finally got beat at Lommel in 2012, it was an incredible experience, the atmosphere was wild. The USA had FINALLY been beaten. Now I feel the Euro/World attitude has shifted. Too many years of not seeing the USA's best attending the event. It's been a real shame for fans world wide, we want to see your best there to put up a fair fight against our best...

Hymas just said on pulp it would be an honor and he'd pay out of pocket to race the event... now thats a REAL american..!!. And he'll yes for webb raising his hand like a REAL American would...!

Don’t always care for his attitude but can respect he’s always up to represent USA. Remember not too far back Star was even on board to give him a bike he didn’t race all season to represent the US, my how the tables have turned!

To be honest, I’m not a huge Webb fan but his willingness to drop everything and race the team USA makes me respect him a lot more. He’s not going this year though.

This is something I find quite interesting, some of the guys look like elite athletes, look at guys like Kenny or Jett, then you have people like coop, who if you just look at his appearance, you don’t go “oh yeah that guy is an athlete” Using Webb as an example, his fitness level is insane, more than 99% of humans.. but the appearance doesn’t always tell the story. It’s a fair point that the track was new to him, but he’s a sand guy and that still doesn’t account for the disparity that I mentioned. It seems to me that if Haiden was just pressing through a weak field of old men, Lucas was doing the same, new track or not.

Deegan had faster laps than Hunter on laps 10, 14, 15, and 17. Haiden had faster laps than Jett on laps 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, and 17. So on lap 10, while pushing through the pack, Deegan had a faster lap. The remainder of the laps, Deegan was basically running their pace as the broadcast stated. But none of that matters because you’ll just conjecture that Hunter and Jett were just out there for a cruise, enjoying the sites and sounds, right? Brilliant. Seriously. That’s a great suggestion. Make the inside gate the obvious advantage so it naturally funnels the riders into position rather than now where folks are forced to hold it wide and pray.
