So are you suggesting that the breakdown was 15k Friday, 45k Saturday and 45k Sunday? Because it looked like way more than that on all three days.
Cooper must have trained Forato on the Sexton KTM supercross starting technique from last year for that third moto. He hit or stalled out of the gate.
To be fair that's in supercross which is basically made to be action packed which includes stuff like that

Webb was far and away our best finisher and to be honest he should have been our worst. He really stepped up. He rode amazing and got great starts. To do that on a new bike with no time is amazing.
Thanks to kitchen and beaumer for giving it their all, huge respect for doing what so many others ducked away from.
Well he was stuck behind Levi for several laps. Maybe he ran it in on McLellan sooner or McLellan made a mistake. You’re welcome to look at lap charts if you don’t believe that Forato was stuck behind Kitchen.
Herlings moved to the front like he was playing a video game and had all the bike upgrades 😳
That's how I was told they counted the attendance at Budd's Creek by one of the officials there with the Irish team . You buy a ticket good for 3 days and it counts as 3 tickets.
They also blocked off a lot of spectating areas so that the areas with spectators would look more full. I'll have to look and see if I have photos of the blocked off areas at Budd's. I had passes that I was able to go wherever, but I noticed that it was drastically different from where people are allowed to go during an AMA race. It wasn't a VIP area , it was a no spectator area. Some areas that are packed during a national had nobody there during the MXON. So just because the crowds look big, doesn't mean they really are as big as they look.
They even parked all the rigs so they would look cool in photos from the air. Normally at Budd's creek they park you so the roads can be used to travel between the track and rigs. At the MXON they had everybody parked so all the rigs were lined up at the same angle. And in some areas that meant that the rigs were parked at a 90 degree angle from how they normally park there. If you can find aerial images of a national VS the MXON . The rigs do look nice all lined up like that. But the hills made for a lot of unlevel pit areas.
Yes its a very big, well attended race. But they also do a lot to make it look even bigger. Cameras and crowd positioned so it looks like the crowds are as big as possible.
Typical Herlings. Able to go 4 seconds a lap faster than anyone at will pretty much
Impressive ride from Febvre today, for his last ride with Kawasaki.
Do you have any idea how big of a crowd 105k is😅
And cheatcodes
With Prado giving away postition I don't see this as a bummer. This guy is all but warrior.
What do you reckon he do against Herlings who’s 4 seconds a lap faster?
Exactly, Prado was on his limit. If he would try to defend his position, he probably would have gone down eventually.
Just block the guy, take him out, fight or at least make it look like you are fighting so keyboard warriors like me wont bash you on the internet. It's not a championship where you can go for a second place to salvage points.
Agree.
It was still pretty amazing that the US team was only 1 point away from getting 4th place. Excellent effort by all three. The Kitchen take out/crash, whatever, cost the most. It happens, tho. The bad luck was spread pretty fairly this year, made the races really good for spectating.
Congrats to Team Belgium. Can't wait for next year 👍
So risk injury to yourself and a respected competitor. Got it:
I’d say he fought pretty hard, covered the lines for several laps, gave it his best, and realized he was running the risk of them both being injured if he forced too many more blocks.
Pit Row
Yep, like with kawasaki... why fghitng if your bike isn't perfect, it's better to ride around whole season. You will see in the next years why will he never win any real championship when everyone is healthy. You guys forget pretty fast becasue guy won one irrelevant title in the US.
With the way he was riding today i was wondering why he would leave Kawasaki?
Was it a personal( financial) decision?
He's not getting any younger and I'm guessing Ducati had very deep pockets ready for a double (and at the time of signing, the reigning) world champ.
He has nerve damage in hip.... this might be permanent...
Money
Great rides by all our usa riders... paul looked amazing on that husky!!
Also great ride by Canada's Dylan Wright
So the US team can avoid all the last second nonsense again next year, can we just ask these three to plan on going again next year right now? If Coop doesn't want to, just ask Chase with RJ or AP as an injury alternate. We know these guys will go, try hard, and make us proud. It gives them a year to get ready for the sand, eliminate all the last minute bullshit, and establishes a team. I think we are all frustrated with the never knowing nonsense.
Partially true. In recent interview with french media, Febvre told that he needs a change and a new challenge to continue to ride at his age.
For most of the moto there was a gap between Forato and Kitchen.
Forato closed it down and, within a few laps, had made the pass. We didn’t even see the pass, so suggesting Forato was pissed is a stretch - and Webb trying to turn it into a “target on our backs” thing is serious cope.
His pass on McLellan was on the broadcast.
Right on cue for your anti American bullshit.
Right on cue, America vs the world paranoia!
I’m not suggesting there was 105k in attendance. I’m saying it looked like more than 45k. That hillside was huge and packed shoulder to shoulder from top to bottom both Saturday and Sunday.
