Make no mistake, with even just a little luck, any of those could win. But the most important “luck” for all of them but AUS is a first turn crash by Huntah. Not that anyone cares at all but this whole debacle "gave me the ick". I used to think the AMA was a prestigious sanctioning body like the olympics. They are just another lame entertainment organization. Mike Pellitier should be disgusted with himself.

Poor kid? This is entirely self-inflicted and then completely lacked accountability. The performance of the bike is irrelevant at this point, the totality of his behavior, culminating in a blatant attempt to not qualify at Budds, is inexcusable. Even if the "poor kid" comes out on a KTM and leads the championship next year, he has done irreversible damage to his reputation. Sometimes there really is a point of no return on these things. I wanted to like him when he came over, but he's an arrogant and entitled prima donna, period.

So I assume there are legal issues to not just come out and say he’s no longer going to be employed by Kawasaki? Or are there family health issues that are keeping him out? The drama is ridiculous with this whole situation. I was a fan.
