9/28/2026 12:55pm Color-anodized forks in general look super sick -- when they are brand new. But not when they get faded, scratched, or stained. The gold/tan ones that are common now are pretty good, and of course the raw aluminum look is nails, but everything else just doesn't seem to weather well.

Nobody is going to complain about a lawnmower unless it is running at inappropriate hours because it is to their personal benefit that the neighbors' yard is tidy and weeds knocked down. They derive no benefit from you getting your moto fix.

I believe Millennium could weld that crack and replate it as good as new for less price. An OEM cylinder is great, but it's $809 from Rocky Mountain. A Tusk is $299, but they are out of stock and may be the same as the one on eBay anyway.

The FIM Starks are pretty severely power-restricted -- remember the Michael Hicks penalty for exceeding the HP limit for a fractional second? They also have a 257 lb weight min -- 37 lbs more than the 450s, literally needing to add weight...
