Dirty Points Added a reply to New works Suzuki?
6/18/2026 12:41pm That's actually a pretty major change if true.
Dirty Points Added a reply to Ducati Desmo250 MX
6/18/2026 9:35am Running up to 15,000 rpm is going to be advantageous on a 250 -- definitely in a way that isn't meaningful on the big bike.
Dirty Points Added a reply to Shimoda 450 plans
6/18/2026 9:30am Manhandle a 450 without piledriving himself? Jo is one of the smoothest, most controlled riders in the whole field. And while we've got Deegs and RJ succeeding on 450s, no less...
Dirty Points Added a reply to factory teams making riders run a setup they dont like
6/18/2026 5:55am None of the guys that ran the KTM WP air shock seemed enamored with it.
Dirty Points Added a reply to Shimoda 450 plans
6/17/2026 11:48am If he is as perpetually buried at the starts on the 450 as he has been for his career 250, he will see little success in the big boy class.
Dirty Points Added a reply to Kawasaki's Two-Stroke is Real, the KX327 is Here
6/17/2026 8:03am Pretty much all of the Euro 2T 250cc+ have counterbalancer. KTM, Beta, Sherco, TM, etc.
Dirty Points Added a reply to 2027 suzuki out this week?
6/17/2026 6:47am That's part of what I'm saying: They have the numbers. They know exactly how many they discount out. They haven't changed the bike... And yet they haven't reduced the price to what they sell them for anyways and made that price advantage part of the sales platform? That's bad marketing, not a bad product
Dirty Points Added a reply to 2027 suzuki out this week?
6/17/2026 6:30am Do we know it's the bike that's the problem and not the marketing, race support, contingency, etc? That all has been half-assed at best. Like have we even ever heard Suzuki mention that their bike is thousands less than competitors even once? Obviously just throwing a few bucks at Kenny recently to prove it as a viable platform has already...
Dirty Points Added a reply to Smokers. Is Honda next??
6/16/2026 12:55pm Yes, The ill-fated NR500 project showed the lengths that Honda was willing to go to promote 4 stroke as their brand identity rather than adopt 2-strokes. https://global.honda/en/RACERS/NR500_02/01.html

6/16/2026 12:39pm I'm speaking to the old system.
Dirty Points Added a reply to New works Suzuki?
6/16/2026 1:22pm It's kind of hokey. The tuner dongle connects to an external battery if you are flashing the maps with the engine off. If they made the device usb-rechargeable battery operated, that would be a big convenience improvement.

6/16/2026 12:27pm Hopefully they put a halfway reasonable fork spring rate in the 250. The stock .5 kg springs are insane on what otherwise is among the nicest suspension packages out there, and it comes on an affordable bike.
Dirty Points Added a reply to Where is Forkner?
6/16/2026 10:16pm Kinda the same, since the other neural issue was discovered in the Arlington imagery.
Dirty Points Added a reply to Huge Crash for Sexton on Press Day
6/16/2026 1:03pm At any rate, he was right there in the running. Hunter cut the track and was penalized. But if you disregard Coenen, who was showing for a one-off, Garrett was third fastest AMA rider in the race regardless of any penalties.

6/15/2026 9:20am This is a very complicated case. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in your head.

Dirty Points Added a reply to Deegan blatantly cutting the track
6/15/2026 10:14am Obviously, when we are talking about acceleration off track we are inferring the "attempting to gain an advantage" clause as presupposed. Nobody is arguing that somebody who comes to a stop off track should be stuck there permanently because it would require acceleration just to re-enter.
kpiper Liked a reply to forum topic Any vital members qualified for a national?
6/14/2026 5:38pm How many of you guys know someone who is very fast and then you see them not even qualify at a National? Or if they do, they look really slow running around in the back getting lapped? It is amazing how fast the top 10-20 guys are.
