I've received many thumbs down votes for defending deegan . To me it looked like max pulled over to let deegan over take the lead and not get into a pissing match. Deegan still deciding to escalate the situation.

Someone will eventually go full Friese on HD. It is all just going to come down to who is fast enough to hang with him and also at a point in their career where they don’t care what the industry backlash would be for taking him out.

I'd say Kitchen and Shimoda gained a fair number of fans by preventing a Deegan SMX championship last year.

Listen to mcadoo on moto x pod from this week. He all but said he'll be taking Deegan out at some point this year. Payton backed levi last year, mcadoo is out of the title fight because of Deegan, he clearly wasn't pleased. This is the part Deegan doesn't get. He makes it too easy for people to justify coming after him when they otherwise never would.

That’s some rock solid evidence. Well done ✊🏼

AC/JB pod with macadoo.. macadoo states he didn’t feel it was intentional.

so we’re just going to leave it at that.

This is such embarrassing behavior from a grown man.

The term "grown man" is hugely subjective.

The Deegans will always be the Kardashians of the racing world, where there is "no such thing as bad publicity".

Idk what the angle is but if the point is “even if you’re talking bad about me, you’re still talking about me” then you guys are falling for it hook line and sinker.

If the clicks and engagement dry up the behavior probably does too. Maybe.

Like the Lawerence’s once your kids are 20 years old they are adults and you should let them fight their own fights. Same with Sexton’s dad, I can’t think of one rider that had parents heavily involved after they were teenagers that turned out to be a good thing. Maybe Dungey, but that probably isn’t fair as his dad was a blue collar guy from the Midwest…

John Tomac with Eli. Proper guidance and support from early on.

Look at the hard, yet respectful, racing between Eli and Kenny in the main. And in general over the years, that's how they've always raced each other. Dungey and RV. James and RC in '06-07 mx was probably the greatest battles of all time. Super close, super tight, but neither sawed the other guys front wheel off. Washougal '06 was the most physical it got. Does Haiden even have it in him to race that way? I'm not going to complain sbout the move he put on Max. It struck me in the moment because it was his teammate. Whats funny about the Deegan's saying how everyone is soft is that if Max did that to Haiden he would absolutely melt down and lose his mind. Can totally dish it out but cant take it

It’s this mentality that may create difficulties for this young man in the 450 class.

I offer the Lawrence’s yet again as a standard of being talented, yet extremely professional.

Haiden has enough talent to be a consummate professional. A more reserved champion. But, with this level of influence around him, it may be near impossible to be much else than what he currently represents.

Somehow, there is a belief that he needs to be disliked and this will create empowerment. Or not.

Just my opinion….

I'd say the even bigger difficulty will be pure performance. Still to this day, i'm not convinced that Deegans drops into the 450 class in SX and is able to consistently fight with the best 450 riders. This is his 4th year in regional SX and he has yet been able to dominate the class like he has done outdoors.

I see no evidence that it's a given that Haiden Deegan will be able to consistently beat guys like Sexton and Tomac in a 17 round SX series. I'm not even going to bring Jett into the discussion.

Outdoors is a different story.

Agreee. We're only 2 races into the season but overall looking at his 250 sx career I just dont see him being an elite 450 sx rider. Yes, you can show me his stats and how they stack up against past champions. I'm just going by the eye test and he's never just blown my mind where I think, oh this is the next guy. He's not a great starter even though he's on the fastest 250 on the gate. Being on a gate against Factory 450's isnt going to help that. When he does get a bad start he doesn't just blitz through the field because he on such another level. And that's in the regional 250 class. The 450 class in sx is just a different animal. I think its going to be a struggle for him when every guy on the gate isn't a pushover and a former 250 sx champ. And go sawing off front wheels in the premier class and see how it goes for you

Nobody gives a shit about them being in the spotlight, they just want him to not be a giant douche on the track.

At this point it's actually entertaining for me because he's in so deep with not being able to separate the persona from the on track antics that he'll surely keep doing it until someone breaks his leg or costs him another championship.

The retarded bad boy persona looks really stupid when it costs you championships and bonus money like it already has. When you go that far with it the joke is on you whether you and your fans realize it or not.

I mean if you really look at it; haiden’s a massive dork. He never looks people straight in the eyes and always has that awkward dorky laugh when he says something. So any attempt at putting up a bad boy persona looks stupid either way.

But at least he frequently sticks his tongue out to make up for all that other goofy behavior.

Ahh yes, another Deegan thread. This is exactly what the Deegans want. To be constantly talked about whether it be for them or hate against them. More eyes on them = more money in their pockets. Understand that they do not give a damn what any of us think about them. And guess what, it works. I'm entertained and you are too whether you're rooting for Haiden this weekend or hoping someone takes him out.

Naaah see this argument is old.

They are millionaires...we know that...they have more money views likes however you want to phrase it.

This is about being a total fucking idiot when you have potential to be a Dungey.

But instead you made the decision to be a cocksucker.

You paint yourself as a 'bad boy' yet you've never thrown hands in your life.

EVERY shot they take-is CHEAP.

Cheap equals pissweak.

Don't claim to be billy bad ass whilst your Dad still changes your diaper.

ESPECIALLY AS YOU PAY A BODY GAURD TO KEEP YOU SAFE 😆😆

So on the Pulp mx fantasy podcast JT said things got way worse this week between Max and Haiden. Said there were some very intense conversations and that Haiden only rode with Moisman this week. Should definitely be an interesting A2!

Is Vital paying Deegan for clicks now?

If not, how is this, (and other) thread making them richer?

Brian cheated in truck racing every chance he got, and when he'd get caught, he'd threaten to withdraw from the Lucas Oil series and take his "star power" to the competing east coast series. Lucas Oil never penalized him, and news of his infractions never made the post-race penalty reports. The only scandal left to uncover is Haiden's PED use.

You guys are dorks. Deegan makes it exciting, I don’t understand all the hate you have towards the kid. He’s badass on a bike

This is so wrong imo.  Just look at the 450 race.  That was exciting, fun, great racing.  Imagine if Chase and Coop had been in a 5-way mix up front.  250 race was not nearly as exciting.  It makes for less entertaining racing….at least to the non garglers.  You loved it.

I'll preface this by saying I am in no way a fan of the Deegans. But, having a rider everyone "loves to hate" is usually good for sport.

where's the 38-super-fan loser? I can't believe he's not in here endlessly defending DiaperBoy. He's probably asleep in his mom's basement under his DngrBoy blanket.

They are like the Kardashians. Not my cup of tea but the drama pulls A LOT of eyes. Nowadays sponsors care about clicks and not how they are generated. “Next season with the Deegans the lil bro becomes a little sis.”

The funny thing about the Deegans is they rely on this hate to keep going. It’s their entire brand and identity. If you people that hate them so much would quit giving them any care or attention you’d get what you want and see less of them. Otherwise you’re just feeding your own problem.

Very true... sad way to live..

I've mentioned this before.. but imagine how big thy cringe lord would be if he didn't sell his soul and go all heel?? He'd be an all time fan fav... now he's just friese with speed...

Unlike pro wrastlin, there are no upsides to heel in this sport..  but there are plenty of downsides..

Can't wait to see Max's smile after his ruins this title for thy cringe lord... 😉
