So is Deegs a quitter or not just not good enough he can't get through traffic as a faking Jett couldn't either? Since Deegs ended up 16th in moto 1. So either a quitter, or really really poor racer. You chose 🤦😅

One, why did Matthes say it was a “rumor” that Deegan is asking for bonus money. Can a journalist get someone on the phone and on the record? Sheesh… Two, this race is all about pride.Either you wanna step up and prove you’re the baddest mofo on the planet, or you stay the fuck at home. Nobody owes you jack for going. If your country wants to help with expenses, cool. If not, also cool. But expecting to get paid to “represent your country?” That’s some grifter shit that has nothing to do with the spirit of this event. IMHO.

This squabbling every year is pathetic.The US supposedly has the biggest moto industry in the world, yet it seems nobody is willing to facilitate getting to the biggest internationa race. Meanwhile small countries attend every year without any chance of ever winning. How do they do it? Fund raising that starts nearly 12 months in advance. It's not like the event is sprung on anyone without notice. In the absence of any other willing parties, the AMA should be stepping up.

I’m about done with all the back and forth about what’s his name and Jett, so how about a bit of appreciation for the number 96?! Just a round ago Hunter achieved something no one has has; going 1-1 against his brother, then this week he straight up runs Jett down and pulls away. Second moto he goes from sixth to the front via a couple of laps that were very reminiscent of a true Tomac Beast Mode, i.e. he drops his lap times to several seconds faster than anyone else and absolutely charges to the front. He pretty much did that in Saturday’s qualfying when he went out and put almost 2 seconds on Deegan’s best time, just because he wanted to (I don’t know if 2 seconds was his goal, or if he was just proving a point, though). Deegan tried running another fast lap before time ran out, but he couldn’t even beat his own best time much less Jett’s.

I've been thinking this. If the chirping continues, I feel like there's going to be a day soon where Jett is feeling good, something happens in the days leading up or in the morning quali as we saw on the weekend, and he's just going to decide to make a fool of him. Of course, its all a fantasy scenario, but maybe not all that far-fetched, especially after the weekend's incident. Mess the bull enough times, get the horns so to speak.
