I’m not sure what Eli’s future holds, but I still see a lot of speed potential there. It was good to get some screen time of Eli today, and from what I observed his bike did not seem settled, IMO. Personally I think the MX setup didn’t come to fruition as fast as he would like, and the injury didn’t help. He certainly has the SX setup dialed, which will show in SMX. I think KTM would be foolish not to resign Eli, even with the Cohen news. They have no experience with SX and will not be a factor...

This used to be a great place to come and bench race. On occasion we’d do good things together, even tho we’d never met in person. I’ve met a lot of true Vitards in person at the races over the years, and had some fantastic experiences. But now it’s turned into a total shit show full of idiots and morans. I dunno… When a guy can be a 9-5 Regular Joe & go out and race with this crowd, he may have an entirely different perspective than the average fan. He might even have a sarcastic view of the “factory rider” life and be a bit annoyed at some of the whining he hears and sees. With that taken into account, I can see where he’s coming from. I don’t need to agree with it, but it’s interesting to hear.

It’s a money grab event now. Nothing to do with helping to groom the riders for future success. We need a legitimate amateur program akin to the emx series in Europe. You can’t even piss at the event without them wanting you to pay for it.

And not to mention the fact you shut down pro racing for amateur racing for 2 weekends is mind blowing, can you imagine F1 shutting down for karting because they are incapable of running both at the same time… it’s nonsense.

I've been to Lorettas every year since 98. I couldn't go this year due to work. I didn't pay to watch either. I knew from the fiasco with outdoors a few years ago the coverage would probably be garbage.

This is a big FU to the fans, riders, riders families, sponsors and event sponsors. Last year RacerTV avg 200,000 daily views. The viewers were the core fans and riders that buy and support the sponsor’s products and services. No chance Flo will have that same demographic viewer, let alone that many views. Classic case of the mouth biting the hand that feeds it.

I know there's a threat about this, but you know what the gates are just dropping today and this is so disappointing hopefully this post can stay up. Like honestly, who wants to pay for amateur racing when all you wanna see is a couple of here and there. It's really disappointing, greedy and right in line with everything else that is so these days. What a bummer. I look forward to watching this week every year and now there's no chance I'm paying for it.

Tomac: " It's good to get my first full Pro Motocross race weekend of the season under my belt. Pala didn’t go according to plan, so being able to get two solid motos done today, I’m happy. Obviously, there’s plenty of room for improvement, but I will do some testing with the team this week and be better at Washougal."

I thought he did awesome! Super smart Vet ride out there, taking what the track and his bike/body were giving him and finishing both motos. Eli knows what he’s doing and will certainly improve next weekend.
