Same. I flew in on Thursday that year and spent most of Friday hanging out at the track. It was way more gnarly Friday than it was for Saturday. Watching the guys try to figure it out was cool to see. At one point I was with Pastrana and Chad and Travis was basically calling Chad a pussy for being intimidated. 😂 Best sx track ever designed, imho.

Not all chiro’s are the same. Try and find one who works with professional athletes—even if you have to travel. Surgeons have but one answer—-surgery. Last resort, in my book….

Decades ago you'd see Hakan Carlqvist hanging from a horizontal bar in his pits, with hooked ankle boots, between practice sessions and Motos. Same with Paul Malin when he was still a test rider / writer for , I think it was , Dirt Bike Rider Magazine ( Brit version) I tried it , and it helped my back problems a fair amount - can't try it now, as my Tibia would separate from my Femur, what with sweet FA holding them together with what's left of my artificial knee joints.....

Even the group around his Wife with Jade Dungey and other industry guys, most with interests in his competitors, were clapping and cheering for Ken. Jeez, even his competitors were clapping and cheering for him.

Nope. Race wins are exciting, but that excitement fades the following week. We have a whole season to look back on for this championship, and get to be reminded of it all of 2027. I have watched every highlight, every interview, and watched the race 3 more times since Saturday night. I have never been this excited for anyone’s championship , let alone a win.

Found some more early KR94 photo's, 2009 the first year Ken raced the MX2 GP class. These are from the 2009 GP's of Sweden, Belgium (Lommel) and the 2009 MXdN in Italy. The airtime photo, Ken is next to Arnaud Tonus and I believe it is Jeffrey Herlings in front of them.

Back in the Day...I was a volunteer for the MX for Children charity. We did various fundraising events at certain children's hospitals in North America during the SX season. In 2012 at the Toronto race Team KTM visited the Sick Kids Hospital and also spent time with our fundraisers. Here's a very young Ken Roczen signing a jersey for MX4C Fund Raiser Liam Parsons.
