I ride/race XC and XCFs, after suspension setup the rest is a non factor to me. But the thing that I like more than anything is my kickstand. At 155lbs and 57 years old, I have no interest in lifting the bike onto a stand after coming off the track exhausted, in fact I’m not even sure I could anymore.

I ride a KTM XC-F 350 everywhere, track, tight woods, off road, desert. It's basically an SX with a 6 speed, bigger tank, 18" rear and spring forks. I changed the springs for my weight added an XPR tuned vortex ecu and a fan. It's really the best all around bike for me. I have had them all, KTM 300, SX450, KX450 and the XC-F has been the best do it all bike. I spend 70% of the time on tracks the rest of the time racing some NORCS and riding single track etc. The bike is more capable than...

New bike time and wondering if there's anyone out there that has an X model that rides track also?… I'd like to get back into some more off-road in my old age but would also like to spin laps at the track and hoping I can buy one bike and be happy I believe they are all the same as...

I rode a 450 for years, recently went back to a 250f, 25 crf 250. Ive been having more fun riding this year than I can even remember. For me, its being able to hold it wide open and bang gears. What a blast. The 250's handle so much better, easier to turn, easier to change direction. Nothing scares me on this bike, it doesnt try to get away from me, and i always feel in control. I cant say that about a 450. My 450's also always felt heavy, like they were being pulled back to the ground by...

I just enjoy 250s, 2 stroke and 4 stroke. Anything bigger and it sucks the fun for me, anything smaller and I realise I’m not 15 any more!

i raced my sons YZ250F a few weeks ago, low hours 2014 bike, loved it , after racing a borrowed 450 the week before. I would love a 350, but i need a 450 for Supermoto, and it would need to do that as well. Best bike i had was my TM300, its a little 500 not a big 250, and was just a joy to ride. I may get another, as i have a new air filter in a bag for one.

After a couple of years off, and 16 previous years on a 450, I bought a '26 KX 250. Ugh... instant regret. After 7 hours, I sold it last Friday and picked up a low-hour 450 sf-x. One ride on it Saturday, and I wasn't even complaining about the stock air forks, just smiling.

On your first ride out on your new 250 after you downgraded from a 450 and you clicked third on an open straightaway, did you immediately regret your decision or realize I can manhandle this bike way better and now have more fun each weekend?.... and then after that, did you ever think to yourself maybe this would be even...

When you say it cracked all the way through what exactly cracked?… The physicians assistant told me that on Sunday, but didn't exactly specify what was broken all the way through? I can make a and stretch my fingers, etc.… Looking forward tomorrow to find out what the hell is going on after six days

Rest - meaning limit movement in the injured area even if it, according to us hard headed mx’ers,“doesn’t hurt of feels ok” Ice - 20 mins on (not directly on skin use a damp thin towel as a barrier) when skin gets back to normal temp ice again Compression - splint or wrap moderately tight Elevation - at every chance keep it above your heart, when you think it’s above, raise it higher Stay hydrated and eat clean.

Youth, non smoking, non overweight, are all positive factors that increase speed of healing. The opposite holds true too. Typical treatment for a broken wrist is 6-8 week immobilization. Scaphoid can require an additional 4-6 weeks.
