I guess what I'm asking/ hoping is there a chance I'm good to go In a month? Granted not scaphoid I know it sounds absurd but they literally didn't tell me shit other than it's broken and to see the ortho… Five days will have passed that I've been in this splint and i would really like to know what...

The only bone in your wrist you need to worry about is the scaphoid. Doubt it is this but best to double check. Most broken wrists are no big deal, except when you break both and have to wipe your ass.

Rest, Ice, Anti inflammatory (ibuprofen, Aleve, or Tylenol) and Elevation. Keep it immobilized in the splint, until your apt with the orthopedist. Do you know which bone you fractured? Some, like the scaphoid receive poor blood flow and take longer to heal or a surgical fix.

I showed my wife this thread, we've talked before about everything thats been mentioned already, but she added another take I hadn't thought of. She didn't get into motorcycles/dirt bikes until she met me. I don't want to drag this out but she said mastering her dirtbike gave her more confidence in other aspects of her life, a feeling of self confidence she didn't have before. On a dirt bike they're using their whole bodies, they're balancing and shifting their weight around, when they tip over they have to use their muscles and pick the bike back up etc, they...

I’d strongly advise against buying kids quads. Seriously. When they roll, they always find a way to roll over the kid. And 4 wheels allows kids to be distracted and get away with it, where as 2 wheels requires a minimum level of skill and focus at all times. I bought my kid a power wheels KFX look alike quad, and it was mind blowing how much fun he had on that and where he could actually drive it at 2yrs old that I thought buying a 50cc kawi quad would just be the natural progression for his 3rd birthday...

There used to be some 50s out there that were legally for 6 and up. The Suzuki LT50 comes to mind and I know Polaris used to make a couple of 50s as well. Pretty sure Kawasaki had a KFX50 for a time during the great Kawazuki phase where they were sharing platforms and just changing colors. The influx of cheap Chinese knockoffs absolutely killed the small ATV market for legacy manufacturers. A dealer can only sell one for the age bracket it is labeled in or above, and you even hint that a child younger than what it is...

Bad idea. Get a CRF50 or similar. Broadly, two-wheelers tend to self-govern the speeds they are written. Kids only go as fast as they feel comfortable with. On four, they can really get moving before they run into a tree.

The Suzuki 50s or 80s are pretty bulletproof. Polaris make a few variations as well. I suggest 2 wheels though.
