Cut down as few trees as possible to keep the noise and dust down and provide shade, make a turn track in the woods and ride it before you commit to anything major.

I went with the KLX 300. I appreciate all the insight. I’ve had it for a day and love it so far. Already addicted. It’s definitely forgiving. I will probably get a track bike down the line but looking for to cruising backroads and trails! Thanks again!

Agree- get a 450, use a mild map (or an older 450)..Nice smooth power, easy to ride, minimal maintenance, no pre-mix… 125 worst bike possible for your size- only advantage to a 125 is easy to put on a stand..
