If you had to choose an bike from 2012 or older what bike would you choose to do it all bike and you could only have that bike. i think i would choose a yz250 because i ride mx and offroad.

2009 yz450f. Awesome suspension and that carb did an amazing job at mimicking FI.

My current bike is a 2003 CR250 I've rode for the past nine years so....I guess that is my pick.

Yz250 smoker and you are dialed... prices are up right now, but they are relatively cheap to keep running

I really like riding my dad's 2007 YZ450F. Of course it is a big difference from riding a 2020 YZ450F. But I still like it

X 2 on the 09 yz 450. 47 hp is still too much but it was near perfect.

12 RM-Z450
12 YZ250

If I had to pick one it would be the zook.

A 2005-07 CR250. I've had both the YZ250 and CR250 and the CR and with some minor motor work, the CR is by far a better bike. Have a YZ now and regret selling my CR,

I bought an 03 KX500 as a cool piece to have around and maybe ride once or twice a year. Ended up liking it way more that I thought I would as an all around bike and a set of modern forks, modern brakes, a hydro clutch, and a Lectron later it’s pretty much my daily lol

If I had to buy a pre 2012 bike, it would be a yz250. If I had to buy a 2022 tomorrow, it would be a yz250.

Couple years ago I bought a low hour 2008 CRF450R for $2,200 as a quick flip..

plot twist: rode it and was so impressed that I can't imagine selling it. 2008 CRF450R is literally the '96 CR250R of 2000-era MX thumpers. STAMP IT.

Boxed up the original plastics and went with a modern custom look.. shout out to SKDA graphics, amazing company to work with

Nothing better than beating guys on 10k dirt bikes with my 96 CR250. Bought it for 450 bucks running, went through the motor and added modern forks with a revalved shock. Too much fun

I'd want my 03 YZ450 back. It had the motor of doom and I had the suspension dialed on the thing courtesy of Tech Care. It was a weapon on the sandy Michigan tracks.
