Mick 22 Liked a forum topic Transitioning from mini's

Why do the major manufacturers continue to ignore what would be the best-selling dirt bike in world, the 125 cc smoker? Compared to the thumpers, costs little to produce. Perfect transition machine out of the mini class. Affordable. The environmentalists can go to hell. If you must, don't produce big bore smokers, but please bring back the 125's.

Lovin this thread. I’ve owned YZ’s my entire life. My family ran a Yamaha dealership in small town Iowa in the 80s. I’ve always been partial to the yellow & black style. Some day I will convert mine to that scheme. My current is a 2021 YZ125

Here is my 2017 - second one. My favorite parts: it works, feels great, is easy to work on, does not change much, reasonably priced, and tons of knowledge and parts available.

Somewhat true, I agree, I used to agree 100% with what you’re saying but since 2020 is a WALL. Before 2020 you could live smart, live frugal and buy a house on one salary ( one strong salary) After 2020 especially since 2022 you really can’t do it anymore. If you are entering the housing market with a reasonable savings for a down payment first time home buyer starting out with a family type scenario, it’s insanely tough now. Anyone who bought before 2022 take another look at the numbers, put yourself in that situation, not with your insanely inflated...

Hard no on Ruts=fun. Agree on turns and jumps. I’ll take nice fluffy berms and straights you can move around on every time. The ripped deep, flooded track prep that turns into a rut fest is one of the worst changes I’ve seen in the sport.

It’s not for me- it’s my job. It’s people’s perception- they didn’t want four strokes, they wanted two strokes. Go read the posts. “Simple” “easy” “cheap” “father and son in the garage” They werent asking for EFI two strokes with balancer shafts and electric starts. They wanted ‘old’ because they didn’t like change. However, Tbf, I’ve had several jobs on TPI bikes which have been more difficult than ‘old’ two strokes. Starter motors and bendix are more expensive than kickstarts. As are the far more complicated wiring harnesses. And I never had an oil pump or CCPS go wrong on...

Most of the guys calling for a two stroke resurgence were doing so because they like the simplicity and the economy of a two stroke. When they realise that this new breed of two strokes aren’t simple and aren’t cheap and they can’t work on it themselves over a brew, they’re going to be disappointed. This isn’t the bike that those two strokes die-hards have been wanting. They wanted a re-run of a 2006 bike.

Like has there been any studies proving we can be addicted to it? I just turned 56, I dont race much anymore but I do still ride some. There have been times where I have went a year without riding but there has to be a bike in the garage or the world will end. I run a small shop and over the years when I have someone new come in who just got their kid or even themselves a racebike and they say they want to go try racing I always kinda jokingly say be careful because if you...

I have never heard of peptide use until the glp1 boom over the last few years. Peptides are a hot topic, and a lot of people take them. The contrarian in me says focus on doing the right things (diet, exercise, recovery, etc.) and let time do its magic.

Caution: Long winded post. Just sticking to BPC-157 and related TB-500 peptides. Please, NO DERAILING into political discussions...If you want to do that, go to Non-Moto. On July 23–24, 2026 , the US Food and Drug Adminstration's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee will formally evaluate whether BPC-157 and TB-500 — two of the most widely used compounded peptides in the United States — qualify for inclusion on the Section 503A Bulk Drug Substances List. So, it may be possible to get tested and confirmed product in an FDA approved manner in the near future from a government approved supplier. These peptides...

I broke my back last year and had t4-t8 fused. I have serious about my recovery and left no stone unturned. I tried pill form of 157 and 500. Honestly, how would it be possible for you, I or anyone else to accurately measure any tangible effects attributed to the stack, considering the body’s natural healing processes amongst other recovery related activities and lifestyle changes occurring in tandem (diet, exercise, rest, red light therapy, supplement and vitamins and placebo etc.). That said, I can’t say that it doesn’t help at all. I simply don’t know and didn’t notice anything drastic...
