He beat one rider who wasn’t lapped. If Hunter didn’t have that issue at the end he probably goes close to lapping Deegan.
Deegan did a solid recovery job to gain 29 positions. Good for his overall points standings. But the leaders had a lot longer before lapping back around to those guys and still passed all the same guys Deegan did.
How is that field not weak when 29 riders fail to finish on the same lap as the leaders?
don't know what happened but his rear wheel stopped rotating in the corner when it looked like he was accelerating (of course it's hard to tell). crappy luck.....
He was a pro, but I don't buy the bike just turned off. If it had, it would not have restarted. Mechanical or electrical failure doesn't just fix itself
