I’ve heard geeks like Matthes say that you need to build a base....months and months of building it. If you even miss like 2 weeks of riding your screwed, base is gone and your basically starting from scratch. The next time you ride your gonna be on training wheels. You need bases built on bases, doubled up by boot camps. I hear riders use the excuse for their entire career. Every season it’s the same story. “I just need to build my base up blah blah”. Same advice everyone typically gives applies. 4 stroke Can ride lazier More maintenance Feel heavier Won’t make you as tired physically 2 stroke Feels lighter and more nimble Will make you a better rider Stand up more Look cooler Sound better Be in the club

No it's not. Not only do bike manufacturers have to do a full size run (moto only one), but carbon layups are nowhere near as easy to mass produce and cast aluminum.

9/12/2020 5:08am Comparing dirt bike prices to high-end bicycles is irrelevant. High- end bicycles are decked in carbon fiber and after market parts. An all aluminum bike for comparison is about as far as you can go for that point and is drastically cheaper.
