No it's not. Not only do bike manufacturers have to do a full size run (moto only one), but carbon layups are nowhere near as easy to mass produce and cast aluminum.

Comparing dirt bike prices to high-end bicycles is irrelevant. High- end bicycles are decked in carbon fiber and after market parts. An all aluminum bike for comparison is about as far as you can go for that point and is drastically cheaper.

I get chaffing really bad behind my knees from my pants riding up. If I open my boots after each moto, and pull the slack back down, I do not get chaffing.
