12/7/2020 10:21am Don’t make it so complicated.. ride the first moto at 75%, second moto at 85%, then it’s ready to rumble. Change the oil after the first day of riding Incase there is some metal debris.

Therein lies the problem. It’s akin to people moving to your neighborhood because the HOA at their last place had too much control and they wanted some freedom. Then, after a month of being there they decide to start an HOA in your neighborhood “for everyone’s benefit” and within 3 years they’ve made your neighborhood just as fucked as the one they came from.

Lets see. Florida has no income tax, its somewhat friendly to build, land is cheap inland, weather is warm, soil is great. Most top riders already live here...cali can keep the moviestars the tech mogals and the homeless.

It’s quiet the opposite. Longer landings give riders who have no timing or necessary skill the confidence to try jumps they have no business hitting. Track owners here talk about how they hate how riders say they “work their way” up to hitting jumps. They will land 5 ft short, bouncing and landing sideways, the entire day. Because they are “working their way up to it”. In my opinion you have to create jumps where you can’t do that. Because landing 3 ft short is extremely dangerous. Either hit the jump, or don’t.

No, this just gives lesser skilled riders an inflated sense of skill, and the first time they come across a real jump with real consequences, their first attempt is basically a roll of the dice

The Kawi looks like an awesome package all around, would love to ride one. As far as the Honda goes I’ll at least be waiting until 22 or 23 to see if they work the ECU and some of the other issues out. In no hurry to ditch my 17

12/2/2020 4:32am I think the local tracks (non-national) need to build the jumps bigger and stop taming everything down, or at least have options for those who want to go bigger. An 85 shouldn’t be able to clear every jump. These tracks become boring unless everything else is spectacular. This also separates the C from A/B riders and makes practicing more safe.
