Anybody run it? They have been supporting a ton of privateers, podcasts, and teams. Looking for reviews on it! (Mainly 2T oil, but anything)

You doxed a paying customer. It’s just as easy to dox you if he actually wanted to. Luckily Rupert didn’t pay you a visit on Viking Way in Naples 😉 If you treat customers better, and actually reply and resolve issues BEFORE being called out on a public forum, business will be a lot easier for you. And you are...

Fucking awesome bikes. I wanted one again but the price was basically the same as every other Japanese bike due to Covid. They are bulletproof. OEM parts are fairly priced, bit more than other Japanese bikes, but very reasonable and plentiful. And they look incredible.

Awesome bike! Keefer has a recommended mods and setup article on his website . I think I did all of them if I remember right. Full yoshi system, removed the backfire screen, purchased a vortex and had it mapped from twisted Development, went to a 49 tooth rear sprocket, and added the rekluse torc drive clutch. Best handling bike I’ve ever owned and I plan on keeping it for a long time. My son just bought me the new 21 crf450r and I still plan on riding the 250r the most. You did good !

Idk, the 00-01 and 02-03 were painfully slow. 04 some got the electronic PV to work very well, but sucked for those that didn’t, and 05-07 was a pretty good bike. I’d recommend a 1997

Your wallet needs a refresher course in public speaking; it misspoke and paid for a 4-stroke!!! J/K man, that's a nice bike. Ride it easy once or twice and then set your sag and dial in the clickers on ride #3. If you need more power, go Yoshimura. If you want to make it look insane and stop better, go with the CR Stuff (Moto Stuff now?) rotors. That's what I'd do on a Honda.

Anything over $2000-2500 and you’ve done good/taken advantage of the covid tax. Nice bike, gen 1’s are in demand for very specific buyers. They are cool bikes!

The handlebar map/kill switch is susceptable to water damage and will cause your bike to shut off. Cover it when washing it. More power tips? Get a filter kit with no backfire screen. Either No-toil or Twin-Air kit. The Yoshi pipe works good. Helps with low end pick up with the filter set up.

63 yr old vet rider. 80 plus % of my riding is at home. I have a home built track that is very technical, uphills and downhills, rutted out, choppy-rough and VERY tight & twisty. I only race one time a yr at our Old Timer national at Horn Rapids ORV and occasionally practice at he Airway Heights track in Spokane, Wa. Current bike is an 18.5 KTM 450 which I would probably keep for trail and desert here. Thanks a bunch!
