12/2/2020 4:32am I think the local tracks (non-national) need to build the jumps bigger and stop taming everything down, or at least have options for those who want to go bigger. An 85 shouldn’t be able to clear every jump. These tracks become boring unless everything else is spectacular. This also separates the C from A/B riders and makes practicing more safe.

There are tracks built exceptionally well (relatively small and safe jumps, slow speed, excellent dirt) and they still have injuries. I’ve been running fatbars and pro tapers since 01, and I’ve never bent one any worse than it took just loosening the clamp to straighten it back out.

11/29/2020 3:54pm The fat bar is noticeably more comfortable than a twin wall. I do not notice any difference in either handlebar’s ability to hold up to crashing better.

11/29/2020 4:45am Fuel is pretty self explanatory - determine the trip miles, vehicle mpg, and amount of people + your bikes consumption. Riding fees are easy to determine. Lodging - I’d say 75-85/night for a cheap hotel or 100-135 for a nice (recommended) hotel, and then divide by the amount of people. Food and drinks etc are variable.

I noticed both Ty and Jake Masterpool and Max Vohland are all racing the Mini O's. For Vohland, I can understand since he's pretty much trying to do/is doing the Dungey route of switching straight from B to a full pro factory ride. Plus, maybe he still needs to earn some points to race SX...? I don't know on that. Otherwise I would think his time would be better spent at the test track prepping for the big show. But for the Masterpool's, I can't see how it can be advantageous for them. Two established pros getting beaten by a...
