I’d happily buy a helmet made in America, but it’ll cost double what this guy was willing to pay ($1500+) considering labor wages, property value and material costs (which would also likely be charged a tariff) Made in America helmets and gear SOUND amazing, but consumers won’t be able to afford it unless CEOs magically decide they only need a small portion of profit to back it.

You're trying to make the Yamaha more comfortable? I don't think jumping on a Honda is what you're looking for, sounds more KX. It doesn't have the power of the Yamaha though, so you'll be looking for more bottom end power if you like to lug.

There are no downsides to a 110. The downsides to a 120 are: kill cornering and sucks in ruts.

I always ran 110 on my 450’s no matter what size came stock. I prefer the way the bike handles with the 110 and didn’t notice any loss of traction.

Of all the bikes I’ve had and currently do have, my 2004 YZ250 with SSS forks and the newer shock is the most comfortable bike I’ve ever ridden. I bought it as a secondary “goof off” bike and it ended up being my preferred machine. My other bike is a 2023 KTM350SX with kyb conversion. It’s so comfortable and easy to ride. But the YZ250 has the perfect balance of comfort and stability, while also feeling raw enough to remind me that it is a little wild too. The modern bikes are so seamless and “rider friendly” that they take...

Yep, I had a YZ250 that worked so well but figured if I wanted to compete in the vet class I needed a 450. A mate was selling his 2019 CRF 450 so I bought that off him. I raced it once and did 2 practice days trying to sort it out and never could. I rode a random guys 2020 YZ450F at the track for a few laps and went to my local yamaha dealer on the monday and traded the Honda in for a new 2021 YZ450F which I still have. Now that I am finished racing the...

I’m sure some will agree it was a tough day when we had to switch from the ‘09 YZ450 to the 2010.

At what point does it become the rider’s responsibility to look out for self-preservation? Just because the machinery is capable, doesn’t mean you can just climb aboard & go balls out. An element of the competition, & in fact an element of becoming a professional is looking out for your well being, & being able to stay healthy and ‘stack blocks’ along your training journey will help more than time spent recovering on the couch. There is usually only one person to blame for riders getting injured- and that’s the guy twisting the throttle. ‘Guns don’t kill people, people do..’

I think a grown ass adult 18+ can ride whatever they want. 450, 500, 1000cc. You can go sign up and die for you country then you’re old enough to ride whatever dirtbike you want. You can make big boy decisions at 18+. HOWEVER. I think under 18 years old should have to ride 125CC. Of course you can’t enforce that, but at the amateur level, under 18 should be on 125CC 2 strokes.

Idk about slowing the bikes down but moving the age up to 18 is a very smart idea imo, Im glad they did this. I always think back to cianciarulo going pro and being like 5’4” and 92 pounds and riding a pc kx250f in supercross. Once he hit the deck it was a foregone conclusion his body was going to get trashed and it was. Literally 1 year later he grew like a foot and by 2 years later he filled out a bit and was a full man. Putting that little kid in sx was borderline criminal, but...

This bike is a 19 year old, 125. Stock motor, stock suspension. Every time it goes to the track, it will pass at least 40 of the latest and greatest 250's and 450's, yes, even Factory Editions. It also has steel handlebars. Just a humble Public Service Announcement to maybe help some of you, save some money, if you are thinking you need to spend $1200 on a new titanium exhaust or other goodies to go faster. Have fun.

If you were closer then yes but I’d try to come in under $35. Idk where you live but people in this part of the country are not keen on those prices.

I did top and bottom on my 22 fc350 at 100 hrs and it looked like new when we opened her up. I usually sell at 100hrs but I love this bike so much I decided to keep her for another 100.

I ran 2) 350’s to 145 hrs and just decided to rebuild mine instead of buying new as well. My engine guy said it looked excellent as well. Installed prox conrod, oem piston kit and reused the valves per his insistence. Very impressed with Ktm durability.
