Hey Guys, fresh rebuild. KX125, 2008. Athena 144 Cylinder, all fresh. New crank (HotRods). Carb, Reeds, Scalvini full pipe. All perfect.
After about 12 minutes of running, on a new plug, this is what she looks like. The bike has run sweet in the past, now, she just burbles. Up top, it screams, but getting there is a challenge. Any ideas?
Like a bad dream.... it looks like an old plug, but, she's a newbie!
It looks like the plug is overheating, you likely have an air leak, ignition advanced too far, or the wrong heat range plug.
Clutch side crank seal
or stator side seal, or between the crankcases, or reed block.
Plug aside, I would not trust a hot rods crank.
