How does Hollywood always screw things up? Did they have a hard time finding side panels and a front plate or a legit light for that bike? I remember that even pissing me off when i was a kid.

Ive always wondered for the Americans that ride moto, do you swap your brakes on your mtbs/roadies to the same as the moto setup? front brake on the right, or do you just keep it opposite and hope you dont have brain fade and yank on the wrong brake.

What riders have had to ride bike setups they didnt agree with? I remember way back in 1982 or 83, alan king had to run a shock he hated on the rm500. He should have won that title. Don M may know more on that deal. also recall jeff stanton not putting full weight on his bike during sag check to hamper the sag setting. (clearl wanted softer). I think jake weimer touched on some of this on a podcast. Sure seems like lots of riders, enjoy the privateer bikes, after the factory days are over

6/16/2026 11:37pm Right now, it's unique in the market, an affordable enrty into the 450 market. If they fully update, price etc., they're playing in the volcano, with,how many models, Triumph, GasGas, Ducati, Honda, Kawa, Husky, Beta, KTM, Yamaha, TM, (did I forget any?) (Stark?). Why change? If you want 'better', there's options. Suzuki is SMART!

6/16/2026 11:30pm Plenty of other choices on the market, as I stated earlier. Suzuki are on the money, for the budget conscious, whom can then afford to hop-up as they improve. Remember, 95% of bikes sold will never race. Just for the fun of riding.
