quadzrulebro Liked a forum topic Risk Racing customer service
7/8/2026 4:19am In an age where customer service seems like a thing of the past, when an industry company goes above and beyond, I think it is only fair to share. In the fall of 2024, I used some of the contingency money I earned to buy a Risk Racing electronic starting gate. I never even opened the box until the spring of 2025, and only used it a handful of times before putting it away in my shed for the winter. This spring, I pulled it out of the shed and plugged in the battery, but it was dead. I called...

7/7/2026 2:48pm I go to the one in Ocoee sometimes. I wish it was closer. It’s crazy how many public skateparks and pump tracks there are nowadays compared to 20+ years ago. Edit: took me 5 tries to upload a pic from my phone. Hopefully only 1 shows up.

7/7/2026 2:45pm Closest thing to mx for 60+ years old. Kinda safe. Kinda not. Casselberry fl spent 4 million to build Wheels skateboard and bicycle park. How crazy is that to build this 4 miles from my house. Look up pump track. I knew nothing about this 2 weeks ago.

7/7/2026 2:43pm If the Kawi 2 stroke thread has taught me anything, a 100 page thread is necessary to conjure a new bike.

7/7/2026 2:39pm You’ve pretty much hit the nail on the head regarding the Triumphs. I’m still irritated with them about the 450 trans problem as the 250 is such a good bike minus the clutch issues (which seem a lot more rare than the trans issue after the 2 recalls)

7/7/2026 2:39pm From what I’ve heard: 250’s have notchy shifting that a Yamaha shift lever mostly remedies. Clutch is so so but the latest recall update is probably adequate but the Hinson solves it completely if you don’t mind spending the money. 450s have hit and miss transmissions and sub optimal suspension valving. Most people get their suspension done anyway. There is a fix for the transmission if you are comfortable splitting the cases. However, most people say they handle very well and have good power.

6/26/2026 5:57pm I love the ingenuity! In my opinion there is no downside to installing a decomp button. You'll hear some guys say "if you need the decomp button then maybe you shouldn't be riding a 500 blah blah". Yes we all can start a 500 without it, but if you're racing, on lap 4 and you fall and stall the bike, the last thing you want to do is to kick over a nasty 500 lol. I measured the bore on my cylinder. It measured at exactly 3.55 inches which is 90.17 mm. There is no ridge at the top which...
