The GP was good, but there is only half the space to use now for spectators with the banks on the far side off limits, apart from a couple of spots. It looked busy, but more than double the amount of people there is not gonna happen.. Coenen jumped left into Renaux . The single peice of barrier was probably for media , it was just 'there' , could have been 'not there' , but it didnt need to be . But it had nothing to do with the crash or his injury, he was going down as he did...

I can only assume that all known world wide stocks of BFR shocks have gone and Suzuki were given the green light to give the old girl a freshen up.

Joe has actually been sneaky good in the sand but seems to have one bad race which stuffed his overall results for the last few years. Cole was very good in the sand pre heading to the US so not sure where he will fit in the pecking order. I think the Belgium MX boys, much like their football kin will gate crash the US party. Lucas 1-1 is my call. Sacha 1-3 or something like that.

I thought we were told the first three rounds that the Kawi 250 was the best bike in the paddock? Does this change depending by who wins and who crashes?

That was fantastic. More of these please. You can have a series of recently ex races discussing the good and bad of the MX world called 'The Exit Interview' (trademark) So much to digest but one that comes to mind is how does the issue of rider insurance get handled? Do the teams assume the riders pay this out of their salary, do the teams have a group scheme and the riders get so much $ cover per year? Seems like Mitch made his own calls on surgeons and where he needed to be treated so he had flexibility in...

Will be a must watch 4 races on Sunday (NZ time) I have zero idea of what will unfold and how these boys will do. They both win, not surprised. They come 5th and 6th, not surprised.

Also, give Cole some credit for the second moto. Levi was about to throw up his ring at the end of that race. He was trying to haul Cole in. He got it back to just on 10second and then Cole pulled away again. It was a dominant win. Just say it.

I'm like a broken record on this but the best take on the Chase situation is from Ben Townley. It was 18 months ago, is is again a week ago. Listen to Title 24 PC from after Pala. He explains very clearly the issue is not the bike, its not the Kawi team. It is Chase and his inner circle deflecting the responsibility elsewhere. If he moves to Star or anywhere for 27 he'll have the same issues.

Kawi finally put their money where their mouth is with this 2 stroke and gave the large majority of the people exactly what they wanted. I’m not one to buy a new bike, especially a Kawi, but this is how you make that happen. I’ll sign the papers when the 2nd model year rolls around. Well done team green.
