Well done Kawi. Got to admit I am stoked with a Japanese manufacturer stepping up and investing in 2-strokes, and actually going head to head with KTM. Would love to spin a lap and compare to my 300xc. If the US price spread between the 450F and the 327t models is the same in NZ, the 2-strokes will sell like hotcakes. Ball is fully in Yamahas court now. They have the template from the Euro only Fantic 300x with all the same tech.

The LACRMX track closing is for the lack of better wording, f@#king ridiculous. I look on from across the Pacific at US litigation culture and insurance cost increases and I wonder how anyone can afford to race themselves let alone run events. Yay for completely un-restrained free markets am I right? As an aside, I have always wondered how the various teams deal with the issue of insurance. When Webb said 'I'll see him outdoors' (not sure if this interview but heard somewhere over the weekend) did he mean before or after the races? Because no way its during. Spicy Webb needed to turn up at round one of SX.

I really, really want to ride one of these to compare to a SX300. Not sure what its like in the US but here in NZ the biggest hurdle is the high entry price point and shitty resale value. You really need to be a true believer to take that plunge.

Ummmmm shit. Not a great sign really but was flagged to happen. If the market was strong and financials looking ok you think this wouldn't have been done. Lets hope the factory support Husky teams can make the most of this and build to a Quad Lock Honda/ ClubMX/ HEP level of competitiveness. I wonder how many non-factory team owners are on the blower to Husky HQ right now seeing what they may be able to get for 27?

Hi guys, again thanks for such a fantastic review. The most eagerly awaiting pod every week because of the info that is not directly related to what we see on screen. Agree with the Tom V take. His adaption to a new team, new bike, the 450 etc. has been outstanding. Makes me wonder what was up the last two years in the US outdoors series. Yep. Think about Deegan, Jett, Chase version 3.0 for 27 and beyond, Cole D in 2028. I think this is his window for SX. He is better outdoors and may have other chances there but for SX the door is open in 26.

As a fan of the sport, the last three races this season are going to be compulsory viewing. I'm not a fan of any rider, but for one of the guys I will be really happy, and for one very sad. They both deserve this title and for both it is likely their best and last shot.
