SMX is stupid. Get rid of it.

The only thing I don’t like about the playoffs is the points system. We don’t need double and triple points to cheapen the championship. Leave the points the same as the regular season.

I’m ok if they got rid of it completely and had 1 big award and trophy for the guy that did the best out of both series.

Btw are we naive enough to think that similar stuff couldn't happen to the industry media in the future? FELD and MX Sports wants complete control of this whole business and the narrative. I bet they will push more and more towards "in house" media that will tow the company line in every situation. A bit too negative/critical regarding venues, rules, officials, owners etc? Yeah say goodbye to your credentials the next 2 rounds.

Can we just call a spade a spade, and admit that SMX is a complete failure and waste of time? Tracks and locations were not what was promised, and even people who care about Moto are not watching when there is College Football on a Saturday in the fall. There are better things to watch and do. Ill tune back in when its Anaheim 1.

I found it boring not so much because it was a mud race, but just because of the SMX playoffs in general. Still feels to me like a massive gimmick. Especially how for some reason you get more points in the next 2 races. Why arnt all 3 races the same amount of points? Just seems like manufactured drama so the last race always comes down to the wire. Just my opinion.
