Missing all this seat time will be detrimental to his speed. You can't miss that many gate drops and expect to come back and immediately battle Jett, and that's before even factoring in the bike. If he ends up back on blue and the same cycle repeat: struggling to get comfortable, pointing to the bike, changing teams, and spending long periods on the sidelines, he'll eventually fade into irrelevance. The sport keeps moving on, he can't afford to keep hitting reset.

Yeah first I heard of this is DB's latest podcast where the last section he mentions Whats-his-name moaning on the post race interview that Jett cross jumped him and was constantly looking back. I didn't see a single cross jump...and Jett definitely would never deliberately cross jump (queue the incoming he cross jumped Forkner replies)...I have seen Jett look back on occasion to check a gap etc. Whats-his-name on the other hand has his head on a swivel worse than Regan fucking MacNeil in the exorcist. Buddy. He was riding way over his head while CUTTING at least a second and still got dropped 20+. Look at lap times in 2nd moto where he wasn’t cutting. It’s not even close

As long as Haidens default mode is to rape the rev limiter and try to ride like an offspring of Barcia and Tomac I think we will see a lot of what we saw yesterday. He can sprint like that for 10-15 minutes but he lacks race craft and finesse. And I don’t know if that will come as quick and easy as some of his fans belive. During a race situation you always trail back to your instincts and if this type of riding is his instincts, then he might just end up like a faster Barcia that never...

I doubt Deegan will straight up beat Jett this year, or the next, or the next.... We know Jett is not at his best due to him still recovering from the foot injury. Jett only get better each weekend. Deegan will hit a ceiling and that ceiling won't be enough to straight up beat Jett. BTW, I like Deegs, apart from the stupid shit he does witj social media he ain't really a bad kid.
