Whenever he decides to, he can drop everyone with ease, then immediately settles into a pace that's just enough to stay in front. He never goes any harder than he has to.

objectively speaking, like DC said post fight after Jon jones whooped him again in the rematch , it ain’t a rivalry if I lost to the guy twice , yes deegs is steadily improving & eventually will get there but until he starts beating Jett just as much as Jett beating him , it ain’t really a rivalry so yeaaa we can kill this 1 v 1 talk between them
