I wish you could pick your top 2 or 3 choices. They’re all a bit loud for me but if I HAD to choose, I’d flip a coin between option 2 and option 4.
No offense, but please make a choice of none of the above. Holy crap dude.
Reminds me of the time my buddy painted my $500 Shoei for me. I told him anything but flames and it came back looking exactly like #3.
I like #2 if it was solid black.
#5 looks like a roach coach serving Carmel apples, corn dogs and slurpees.
#4 looks like you bought a Ryder truck at auction and tried to hide it.
#3 Looks like a Hot Wheels without the hot.
$2 Is the closest to anything but it still looks like Zach Morris and Madonna shared a tampon.
#1 Looks like the BBQ pitmaster got his Webber Grills sponsorship check to cash and this year he is going to be in the running, in the fast lane, going 64mph.
I haven’t painted anything cheesy yet so this won’t be the first one
The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
For my tastes, none of the above.
All of those scream, BREAK INTO ME, SOMETHING EXPENSIVE INSIDE!!"
For transporting, I'd keep it understated.
Solid black, or dark gray.
Maybe a Gene Winfield style subtle fade, dark to light from bottom to top.
#4 is the only one that didn't hurt or strain my eyes.
I was harsh and I apologize. But all those are so loud. And... I had to wear that helmet I was talking about for over a year. My opinion is pretty much on par with Joey's. You obviously have the ability to pull off an amazing paint job. I'd go with a moderately dark gray and throw some pearl to it. Make it look like a super paint job rather than a super design. You could go with something that had some flake or something totally opposite and go flat. I actually like some of the flat colors that are on the road now, like the new Toyota's. Some of them look good. A flat color spread out from vehicle to trailer, I think would look really good.
No doubt. Just do a wrap with AIDS, Herpes, and Other Infectious Disease Transporter graphics allover
Option 4 needs the Chester Cheetah worked into it somehow, like Johnny O's old helmet did.......
Well, the orange purple one is the best out of the choices you present, but like others, they are too loud for me too.
I'm curious what the reaction would be if you posted this over in moto. Would it be "SICK BRO!"...or "BRO!...WTF?"
It might turn out better than the rendering, I suppose. Watching the video of the steps of this GT3 being truly 'hand painted' made me cringe, but after seeing the final project I can understand why someone might like it. It definitely turned out better than I expected, but if I had that kind of money sitting around I don't know if it is the direction I would go.
There's a younger version of me that would like all of those designs. I voted for the red
I didn't absolutely love any of the designs, but the real flames are a standout. Those are the best of the five. Flickitflat is right, though: it looks a little bit like the company car and trailer setup for a BBQ company.
If it were me and I wanted a matching paint scheme, I'd go with something really simple. Two or three colors max.
That’s why I came here where everyone is normal vital members haha
Not harsh no need to apologize, I might tone it down a bit I’m going to have logos on the side and name and number also, it is going to be an advertisement of some sort for my painting so I might go all out 😬
