Barcia’s been feuding with Davalos yet passed him clean in the Main tonight. Contracts matter so maybe there’s a new Barcia on the track. He’s certainly way different than his goofy JGR days.
Haha ok. Davalos damn near rode into the mechanics area to let him by

Watch the race again. Barcia’s pass on ET was very clean. Two turns later Tomac’s pass on Barcia was also clean. There was nothing between those turns but Barcia wicked it up and starting riding like a man possessed. (Which is fine). Tomac knows Barcia’s previous record so he definitely was impatient on the Baggett pass. It was a typical SX pass on a tight track. Tomac dove in and Baggett cut down. Happens every week. It all added up to not much of a huge deal but Ralph and Ricky screaming and yelling like a couple three year olds on Christmas made it seem worse than it was. On to Daytona

True, but he whines like a baby when someone does to him what he does to everyone else. Look at the shit he pulled on Davalos a few weeks back, then when Davalos tries to make Barcia put up or shut up, Barcia puts his hands up like a snowflake and looks around for mommy (track crew) to save him. He’s like the kid on the playground In elementary school who pokes you with a stick, then runs To the playground monitor when you call him on his bullshit.
That’s because the AMA cracks down believe it or not on other riders placing their hands on someone in a negative way. Been that way since reed and stew.

Some of you guys have your pitchforks and shite bags out ready to defend your farm. Bam bam road an excellent race. My guess is he is trying to clean up his ways and Eli was in panic mode and hit him hard. So what? That’s actual racing.

He mentioned it on the podium and you barbies saying he is a snowflake do the exact thing your complaining about. Shaking my head

100 percent some of his fans are really bad. There is absolutely no denying it, but I mentioned in another thread the Eli haters are just as bad. Responding over, and over every single time his name is mentioned hating everything he does no matter what.

Honestly the 2 sides deserve each other. Both sides are equally unhinged, and frankly pretty f’ing creepy.

It’s just a shame those two sides always manage to wreck it every time the other non crazy people try to have conversations.

It's hilarious how hard a lot of these guys swing from his nuts like he's a f_ckin saint or something. As for "Bam" all he is doing is hauling ass and staying in the points hunt.

Agreed. I'm not anti-Eli by any means. He's a bad dude. But I'm more a fan of the sport than a single rider but these discussions lately has been a bit much. Eli can really do no wrong. If he makes aggressive moves, it's 100% fine, but if anyone makes the same at him, it's out of line. It's so obvious. They even try to pin the Baggett crash on Blake somehow.
Even a fan knows when his rider is making mistakes.

I don't understand why we can't all just be fans of the sport. Sure you can root for someone but no need to get all unreasonable with it.

The title here has the words in the wrong place & is missing a couple more - should have read:

#51 has Eli as enemy - This Week

heavy on the This Week, as it'll probably be whoever is around #51 next week.

We saw lots of riders bumping into each other and going down all night in the 450 race. Not just ET/BB. That is what you get with tracks you can't pass on.

Barcia does get crazy stupid at times though. No one can deny that. Ask Bowers and many others.

The 51 has had something against ET for a long time. I think it has to do with knowing someone is faster than you and then riding extra aggressive to try and overcome that fact.

That is true. Probably the cleanest year he’s had and he’s been moving through the pack. If he gets a start he could get another win for sure.

Can we get over this topic Barca has more personality in his sleep than tomac ever will. Barcia grew up fighting for every penny.

True, but he whines like a baby when someone does to him what he does to everyone else. I think after the massive cross jump by Davalos. Barcia served him up a perfect takeout that he deserved. The after, what do you want him to do? He is a dirt bike racer and not paid to be an MMA fighter. He rode away, avoided suspension and fines. To me that's pretty smart.

He is 3rd in the points, ahead of last yrs champ, getting terrible starts and riding through the pack like a beast. He seems like the one guy in the field who will ride 100% on the edge to make a pass or not get passed. I'd say he has been right up there with Eli and Webb for the best riders to watch all season.

When Barcia passed both Friese and Davalos coming out of the over/under it looked like both guys checked up or something. Friese was like looking over at something. It was odd and of course our stellar announcers never said boo about it. Tomac doesn't have the mental strength to win this thing. Roczen will likely be the 2020 champ.

People have a weird definition of whining. They asked about The run in with Tomac and Barcia said he didn’t like it then moved on to other unrelated comments.
This place is unreal with the Tomac favoritism.

How many passes did Barcia make and how many of those were takeouts?
Hint: the answer is easy...

#1 How does Barcia do vs Tomac on tracks with "less jumps"....you know...like outdoors? Tomac smokes him.

#2 What is Tomacs record at Daytona?:
2013-4th (he was still a 250 rider moonlighting some 450 races...)
2014- Did not race
2015 - 2nd to Ryan Dungey
2016- 1st
2017 - 1st (by 17 seconds....)
2018 - 2nd (after being DEAD LAST and -16s on lap 1 - went down exiting a corner after Weston checked up on him)
2019- 1st

#3 What is Barcia record at Daytona
2013 - 3rd
2014 - 12th
2015 - Did not race
2016 - Did not race
2017 - 11th
2018 - Did not race
2019 - Did not race

So it begs the question. What are you smoking?
Facts hurt the bum bum fans.

Wins:
Tomac 4, Roczen 3

Podiums:
Roczen 7, Tomac 6

Top 5's:
Tomac 8, Roczen 7

Average Start:
Roczen 4.0, Tomac 8.0

Laps Led:
Roczen 68, Tomac 41

Will be interesting to see. I think mentally Eli has improved, not sure if he is working with someone or not, if not he probably should to try to seal this thing. Things will get tense the last few rounds if it stays like this. I believe he can do it this year. Despite starting worse than Roczen, he has more wins and has passed Kenny several times which if it continues to happen will get his momentum back. He will still need to minimize his mistakes, just like anyone else.

Rewatched the race and he went from down 20 seconds to down 24 seconds. The camera went away when he was about to make a move on Breece. Then at the next segment he lost 4 seconds and was behind Malcom. So Eli crashed twice, and had a horrible start and salvage a 4th. Seems like he has more than enough mental fortitude to win the Chip!

I think Eli does have the mental strength to win it this year. His race last night proved that for sure.

BUT it is his horrible starts that will doom him not to win this year. Amazing someone so fast can't figure out starts.
