Sorry, need to brag a bit. With all of the threads about tracks and riding areas closing, I wanted to make this thread to show that it is possible to grow the sport! In 2024 I hosted a single off-road event. The first ever in my region. Last year, I had two events. In 2026 I was able to host three events at three venues, and run a little series. Northwestern Ontario is isolated. We're 8 hours in either direction to any major city outside of our hub of Thunder Bay (110,000 pop). I'm so happy to consistently have the...

im in the same boat. this was talked about in the LA WSX thread a couple weeks ago. When you figure in gas ($7/gallon here in los angeles), parking, food, drinks, taking a family of 4 or 5 is gonna set you back around $1,000 these days. No thank you. I'll pay my 12.99 to peacock, BBQ dinner at home, and sit on my couch and watch it, then fall asleep with a half drank beer. Whats crazy is I remember paying $25/ticket for A1/A2 around 2020/21. Its stupid now.

You're not cooking him you're keeping his name at the top of the forum. Ignoring him and talking about Webb, Kitchen and Beaumer would hurt him worse but that doesn't seem possible with some.

I don't like Deegan the personality. I admire Deegan the rider. He doesn't sell that many YZ450s. He sells a boat load of PW50s, YZ65s, and YZ85s, which down the road will morph into 125/250/450 sales as those kids will get hooked onto the same brand loyalty many of us have as adults.

I thought we'd have a nice little break from Deegan but for some reason those that despise him just can't help talking about him.

The dude is truly having a great start to his 450 career. I understand the expectations he placed on himself with his off-track antics, but he was battling with world champ Prado all summer and the only guys consistently better than him are two of arguably the greatest motocross riders we've ever seen.

I agree this place is in a serious need of a clean up. So many negative asshole people in here. This used to be a fun place to chit chat dirtbikes but recently it’s taken over his hate post and just flat out nonsense. I don’t comment as much as I used to because of it. Mostly just read and ignore the dumb. I’m still going to be here tho. I do really enjoy the bike builds and other topics. Hopefully if we can get a clean up and make this forum more enjoyable again. In the meantime, keep it...

The 'Congrats Haiden Deegan' thread is the perfect example of what has gone wrong with this place. The absolute hatred toward Deegan on this board is sad. I find myself getting pulled in just to try and balance it out. I'm not a fan of any particular racer. I just like to see good racing. I was rooting for Roczen to win the SX title and was rooting for Hunter to win the MX title. I was rooting for Deegan to win some motos this year.

Weird look on paper and the eye test was strange as well. I wouldn't say I know for sure either way. That said they dominated all season. Hell of a year for both of them. I was happy to see Hunter win it.
