2023 ktm engine with a 2023 Honda frame. Why on earth would anyone do this transplant? Basically take a motor from a company who saved the 2 stroke and completely modernized it and stick in into a frame from the company that killed 2 strokes and then call it a CR and celebrate Honda for doing so. Fuckin morons.

Tm, Ktm, beta, Yamaha are building it and you aren’t “coming.” go to the ones making what you’re asking for instead of supporting those who aren’t. The Honda fit and finish fanatics are left over feelings from the 80s and aren’t relevant anymore.

Because the fit and finish on the KTM is way better? Because the KTM is at least 15 pounds lighter? Because the KTM has electric start which is pretty sweet? Because the KTM has a hydraulic clutch? Because after a couple hundred hours the KTM will still feel pretty damn fresh and the Suzuki will feel like a tenured brothel worker? Because KTM pours millions of dollars into racing of all forms and Suzuki could care less? Because KTM invests into making bikes that my whole family can ride no matter their age while Suzuki has been parading out Bold...

It’s an absolute shame what they are doing to warner valley…and some of my favorite desert single track trails in the world are outside of mesquite, NV…and they are quickly becoming roads. SXS belong in the sand dunes, and on the farm/ranch…

Being retired has its perks beside not having to report for work every day. Being able to take spur of the moment trips is one of them. Spending most of my career as a Machine Tool Builder, I find learning how things are built interesting. The Peacock broadcast caught Jett getting off his bike and talking to his mechanic at the podium staging area. He tells his mechanic he let him "bye", nothing was wrong with the bike. The mechanic says he's glad that's what happened, they were confused AF and didn't understand, and Jett confidently said "Lose a position, gain some points. I'll take that". Straight from the horses mouth, he legit thought he was gaining championship points by letting him by. Just listen to it if you are wondering. 2:54:09 on the peacock broadcast.
