garasaki Added a reply to Vintage MX in the midwest
12/16/2025 12:46pm Sugar Maple MX is in Wisconsin (probably not too far for you), and is a really really fun outdoor track. I know they host a vintage MX round every year - or at least have for the last few years. The post about it on their facebook page

garasaki Added a reply to Daniel Blair / Jase Macalpine in the booth - WSX Capetown S. Africa
12/16/2025 12:40pm You might be on to something here. Even the really good broadcast teams have some irritating tendencies. You pick up on them after a while and you just notice the negative more and more. If you keep things fresh with different combos, you get less sick of hearing the same crap all the time. Maybe instead of trying to get...

garasaki Added a reply to RIP Cameron Niemela
11/13/2024 11:25am I really really enjoyed his videos, and as someone else mentioned, helped my daughter gain a little interest in the mechanical side of dirtbiking. I always was stoked to see a new video uploaded from him. He had tremendous energy and a positive vibe. I feel for his family.
garasaki Added a reply to Help me catch up!
10/23/2024 9:31am Kind of a weird time of year to get into watching the sport again. All the AMA races are over until the supercross season starts again in early January. AMA supercross remains basically the same, a 17 race season. AMA Motocross remains basically the same, although the season got a little shorter at 11 races (in 2024 anyway). There is...

garasaki Added a reply to Valve stem nuts
9/25/2024 1:54pm I was in between rim locks on one wheel, the other didn't have a rim lock. This video did a good job of educating me on why you would take the different approaches with the nuts and things I was doing that I shouldn't be (like tightening down the nut on the outside of the rim real tight which seemed...
garasaki Added a reply to Valve stem nuts
9/25/2024 9:46am deeeeeeeeeez nuts! I tear valve stems out all the time on my smaller bikes. I think I've been doing it wrong. Replaced two tubes over the weekend and did the double nut (with space) way. I hope it works, sick of changing tires for no reason.
garasaki Added a reply to RM85 Forks wanted!
9/25/2024 9:00am I threw a set of 85 forks onto a TTR125 and it TOTALLY transformed that bike!! You'll be happy with this move
garasaki Added a reply to 40 and New to Dirt Bikes
4/22/2024 7:12am Yesterday, I taught the 3rd of my 3 kids how to use a clutch on my TTR125. I was telling them about how I truly think that is the most fun to ride bike I've ever had (I moto on a YZ450f and have a RM125 for the woods, with history of other bikes in my past). I also have...

garasaki Added a reply to Tomac heat race start - Foxborough...
4/15/2024 7:14am That was wild. I was at the stadium in a really good position to see and he had about 3 bike lengths at about 1/4 way down the start straight.

garasaki Added a reply to How local race promoters can bring more people to races and make the experience better.
4/8/2024 6:42am One of our local tracks has a dedicated mini track. All our local races are 4 laps (30 or so classes, some with very low numbers), which means less than 10 minute races for adults. This is a longer track, with 2+ minute lap times and watching the littlest kids on that track is brutal (think 15+ minute races for...

4/5/2024 8:56am I'm sorry but the simplicity and wit of this comment really made my day. Killed it.
garasaki Added a reply to Jett's scuff with Cooper Webb reveals his weakness,...
3/28/2024 6:50am That weakness is pretty effectively mitigated when Jett is 4 seconds ahead of second place. I don't enjoy watching Jett get out front, but I don't see how you can deny that when he gets out front, it's over for everyone else. And he does that a lot. As far as championships go, the current body of evidence suggests that...

garasaki Added a reply to 3 man booth= fail
3/4/2024 10:53am I thought this was one of the better broadcasts in recent memory. I really enjoyed it. RC and Stew seemed to both relax a little bit and act a lot more natural. RC always seems so tense, and I get the impression that Stew is really holding back his personality. They had good chemistry last night. I enjoyed the banter...
