Who has pics of their bike (or any bike I guess) with either a black rear end, or black plastics with a coloured front end?
Like the old TLD KTMs or @Rickyisms KTM? Doesn't have to be a KTM, those are just two that came to mind.
Also, I know black plastics are supposed to age badly but how are they with black graphics on them?
Pic for a vague idea of what I'm on about, though this one has a good bit of colour (not a bad thing) 👍

*Edit. No metal mulisha shit please and thank you 😂
You mean like old 3 piece Ktms? How lucky are you. I have one, the original black plastics are alright, they look fine for being 20 years old. A little dull, a few scrapes, but they aren’t faded, and haven’t developed any lines from stress when bent or anything.
Here is my old 2013 KTM, fluorescent orange/black. Black does look haggard easily but if you do full graphics like this then you can sc1 them or whatever and they look pretty good for a while.
Thanks for the replies, it's good to hear it's not gonna look like crap in a month 👍
My 125 came with new black plastics with some of those knock off vaguely Red Bull looking graphics on...
I replaced them as soon as I got home, but I reckon I'm gonna grab a GasGas front end and do something different, for when I get the urge to change up the look a little 😂
I did it years ago on my RM.
On plastics where the graphics cover most of them, it works well and ages way better than white.
Huge benefit on a 2 stroke is you don't see all the black spooge spots like you do on white/coloured plastics

All black rear for the most part on my 350, they seem to be holding up good get lots of boot rub but they still look good after spraying some SC1 on them certainly better than white.
Sort of the opposite of what you are asking, but maybe it's useful:
Nice work gentlemen, appreciate all the replies and this is much more positive than I expected, thanks 👍
Russ, love a good RM and love how many people still race them, a mate of mine is putting his to work in modern and evo meetings, wouldn't be surprised if you've crossed paths.
Here are a couple shots of my '23 KTM 300SX.
Nice, thanks man, the 300 treating you right so far?
Thanks! It has been an awesome ride. Really responsive and spins up fast. The air forks are ok for air forks but, one of the best bikes I've ever ridden.
I bought another 2024 300SX to make an aggressive woods build, using my Ohlins inserts on it.
That's good to hear, good to hear you're enjoy them and thanks for the reply dude 👍
