My wife did that, she loves it. I do that with my contacts, I lose some depth perception. I switch to a normal contact when I ride.

In 1984, Mike Beier finished third in the 125 nationals behind only Jeff Ward and Johnny O'Mara. Dude drove himself around the country in Clark W. Griswald's family truckster and took showers in the La Brea tar pits. Now, THAT was a privateer.

They're swapping out tires as needed on Monday for another Baja/Rip run next week. With the support we get, I'm in good shape. My post was about the sticker shock I got when I looked this stuff up. $2-$3K for tires. DAMN! Just put tires on the van...with the help we get...$500 for 4. So, I'm stoked. We get some amazing support from Baja Designs, too. That's another segment where I had no idea how pricey stuff is. But, I do know this...I've made a lot of night-time miles and won plenty of races with their lights.

A buddy and I drove down to Oklahoma last Thursday for some weekend trail riding at Cross Timbers ORV while we got another 8" of snow up here. Felt good to get a little winter throttle therapy on the old XR. I love this pig! I hardly touch my RM-Z anymore.

I’ll add a few pics! Dual-sporting is a great way to get around! Both of my dual-sports are admittedly on the LOW end of the performance spectrum! Even with the suspension mods & exhaust add’s that I have made, both are firmly planted in the “Play bike” category! BUT the KLR & CRF300 Rally are still a blast to jump on & make a quick loop at the off road trail when I don’t have time to load a race bike, drive to trailhead, unload, dress, ride etc! Added some Tusk luggage and I can make weekend runs into the...

Here's my 2004 WR450f I rescued. Crank was locked up and the whole bike was thoroughly clapped when I bought it.
