I was as high on Jett as anyone this year, and I still feel like he is the future of the sport for the next 5 years, but I noticed that he sure seemed rattled in his podium interview after the race this weekend.  Last year, and even earlier this year, it seemed like he holeshot damn near every race.  I’m a big believer that holeshots are closely related to confidence, and his starts have slipped a bit recently.  There is no doubt that he has the talent and skill, but I wonder if he still has the confidence to pull it off this year.  What do you think?

Shaken in his podium interview.....?

He was 5th???? *confused*

Jett had typical Kobe Bryant interview, he ain’t rattled hes pissed , he can’t win erry race but I’m pretty sure he’s getting paid hefty to win races & titles and giving up a pts lead like tht in crunch time I would be hella mad too

Jett 12th to 5th, 7 passes.

Chase 7th to 2nd, 6 passes!

WHEN exactly in that race was Sexton in 7th??  Worst I see him was 5th At the 2nd corner of the race it was Webb, Roczen...

At the 2nd corner of the race it was Webb, Roczen, Anderson, McElrath, Sexton.

Then he took 4th position with less than 30 seconds of the race run.

Unless you're counting some weird first turn melee??

Let’s be honest with each other, it’s a bit of a stretch to count those two as ‘passes’.

Like four seconds after this shot he was comfortably 5th.
about twenty five seconds after this shot he was 4th.. I think those ‘passes’ while in the melee of the first turn/straightaway don’t really count.

by the 2nd corner of the race- fair play.

Will be interesting to see how he deals with championship pressure down the final few here. Outside of Hangtown 2021 he’s never really had his back...

I’d say he’ll deal with it with unmatched speed.

How has that worked the last three races?

A pass is still a pass, some are easy, some are hard.

He’s proven he can get his way to a good position with that speed. If he gets a start and does wad up who can catch him? Has he ever been caught passed and beaten straight up I can’t recall honestly if he has…?

If you do  think his speed is the key then I don’t know if I can help you 😘.

I just checked, he is still in First place for the series. Albeit tied at the moment. As long as Coop can avoid any whoop tracks he has a chance.

The 9 whoop rule has helped Webb!

I guess we could say Webb started 20th and came through the pack for the win.

im sure his front wheel was last over the gate..

The pattern I see is when he don't start top 5 he struggles and he hates losing to Ando.

Not sure if he has melted down but he is getting warm...
