That was poor sportsmanship from a dude just visiting the series.

You cant be serious. Its on levi to not back it off before the checkers, hes the big dog red plate holder. Should we just give him the chanpionship now too? This is motocross, its every man for himself out there. Connolly is fighting to get noticed and get a ride too. That pass could change his whole life. Its on levi to seal the deal not for other ppl to let him have it.

Didn't Windham mistake the white flag for the checkers once?

Looking at the math, Connoly’s last turn pass didn’t gain him anything and he would have still got 6th overall if he didn’t pass Levi. Yes, Levi shouldn’t have relaxed, but Brodie didn’t need that pass.

Racers jumping into a championship series late in the season are usually aware of the points situation and try not to interfere with the contenders, ESPECIALLY if the intent is to possibly win the attention of team managers for a future ride. What they don’t want to do is piss off those team managers by fucking with the points situation.

This is exactly what I was saying. Levi is up by 1 point now. From this point fwd its may the best man win. If levi wins this championship hes going to learn more in these last 2 races than the last 2 years. If he goes out and takes this the confidence boost will carry him into the next phase of his career. If not its same old same old.

Same thing with davies, hes a generational sx talent and if he wins his rookie mx championship this is going to put him to that next level. There always seems to be a next guy that steps up into that #1 guy role and since haidens been gone theres been some shifting around but if davies wins this the class if firmly in his hands.

Gonna be fun to watch.

No matter. Leaving with 2nd O/A and the red plate.

Lol...like Ricky used to say, "You make your own luck".  Levi hasn't got that figured out yet.  When/if he does...it's on baby.

At what point in the race should he have stopped racing levi if not the checkered flag?

Its not about the math its about showing potential. These kids dont get signed purely off results they get signed off what they can become. That pass puts him more on peoples radar than if he just finished the race where he was. Teams are looking for grit, spark, and most importantly potential. I’m not saying that pass did change his whole career, but if he gets some good results, is looking good and hes on the edge of getting a ride stuff like that can put you over the edge.

With all of those tear-offs at the Gravity Cavity that might also call it The Tear-Off Trench.

Surprised that Deegan is hanging in there.  This is ludicrous speed.
