. My dad little brothert and myself all rode, Dad rode a Honda XL 125, my brother a taco mini bike and I rode 1968 Suzuki 80 street bike that we took the lights off of and put on kniobbies. We were also at the 1971 Trans AMA race, went to lots races as spectators, San Jose Mile, Sears Point road races, short track, super modified care races etc. but it wasn't until that Trans AMA race that I really caught the MX bug, told my dad I wanted to race, He replied if you save up enough for a...

Steve, you guys were all on Disability Island last night sticking carrots in your ears with all of your poor takes and angles on how this wasn't Yamaha's, AMA's and / or MX Sports' fault. You guys cashed in a shit ton of credibility with your listener base (of which I am one and still will be), but you cannot try and ride the fence on this without taking one up the ole arse. At least JT maintained his credibility. But you and Keefer are way too tight with Yamaha to cover this even remotely proper; all you did was...

IMO, no. You are making a mountain out of molehill. Its buying a bike and should be just like this. Public: "HI, I have money, I would like to buy the motorcycle that is for sale." AMA: "Very good, OK, Thank you for the money, sign here for your purchase. " Public: "Thank you" AMA: "Thank you" Then the dick measuring can begin. All the bullshit you want to drama up.

Steve, it sounds like you’re hung up on the idea that because new details/clarifications have come out of the 57 hours of interviews that have happened since the original conversations, that somehow must mean that Brennan wasn’t truthful in the beginning. Isn’t it entirely plausible that his dealer/sponsor DID say to Brennan and/or his dad that he could lose his access to bikes or otherwise imply some sort of retaliation from Yamaha? Just because the dealer has since clarified that nobody from Yamaha contacted him doesn’t mean that Brennan fabricated the story. It could have been presented as a hypothetical...

Brennan could completely fabricate what was discussed with Deegan and Cotter behind closed doors, and it wouldn’t change the fact that it shouldn’t have happened in the first place. He paid his money, the AMA should have retrieved and delivered the bike to him without any “discussion” with the Star/Deegan camp. But no emphasis on that, let’s dwell on whether or not the dealership was actually getting threatened, and use that minor detail to question Brennan’s whole story. These attempts at character assassination by questioning Brennan’s honesty aren’t doing anything besides showing how deep in Yamaha’s pocket he is, lol...

Star Yamaha certainly "represents" Yamaha on some level. They're actions don't reflect well on their sponsor. Many statements about how Star "couldn't let this happen", "couldn't let that engine get out", and "needed to squash this". The fact that Donnie Luce (representing Yamaha) was texting/calling Matt Walker to get him back to the ranch is telling. And, I know none of us know the full story, but I find it hard to believe that Matt Walker simply "asked Derek Harris" to leave his pits, so that he could continue to explain to Brennen what is in his best interest. LOL...

New interview with Brennan https://youtu.be/bztoQI_ZajA Also 1. Make the person claiming the bike anonymous AMA should only tell them we verified it’s a competitor you only find out when they take possession of the bike 2. Absolutely star and Yamaha had a hand in this kid rescinding his claim 3. Good job JT last night the only one with any sense and that’s hard for me to say 4. Rules are rules 5. Lost respect for pulp and keefer in the last 24 hours 6. Gained respect for ML in 24 hours

Its interesting that everyone is caught up on Walker and the Sponsor. None of them should get a pass including Cotter and Burkeen. They all knew what they were doing and their interviews confirm that. Mr. Burkeen clearly stated that there was no coercion in his interview, 1:55:00. Per ML's original post, "Burkeen states that the AMA rules relating to a claim will only penalize another party if they counter claim a bike to interfere or if a rider is directly threatened by the claimed party. Negotiating a deal to receive some level of support in return for dropping a...

Walker hasn't come off looking or sounding great on Pulp or ML's piece IMO. Contrast his interview with Derek Harris's interview (the engine builder) and it's pretty easy to distinguish whom I'm tend to believe. Matt Walker was/is an incredibly talented and successful rider, ride circles around myself and most everyone here. Built a successful business and has more knowledge in one pinky than most of us will ever have regarding MX..... I respect that/him for it. However, based on what is being said and what was done at Lorreta's, information available to us outsiders, fans of the sport...., I...

Sorry Kris definitely back-pedalling on this forum now. I listened to the segment twice. That was hard to do as it was Very biased. But it didn’t come across this way and Steve and yourself are taking heat… And not because we are Forum Vitards. We are a vast cross-section of customers. You really need to listen back with an unbiased opinion. You might feel inside your way, but it was definitely portrayed way differently on the show. I feel going into to the show Steve definitely had a narrative to wanted to push. Either way it’s a PR disaster...
