I like it that Kris said something. Yes, it kinda goes against always towing the company line though. I also like that in this weeks review pod Steve criticized the Lorreta Lynns track as being too slow. Its not a good measure of amateur talent.

That's actually the sad part the Riders do pay to to race and entertain us and then they sell that on top of it! I used to joke when my kid did it that we were the only clowns that paid to perform not even Ringling Brothers does that LOL

Listen to the podcast. They checked his bank account to make sure they hadn't missed any deposits, named names of factory guys asking about it at races, made it sound like it's common knowledge at the races.... don't think they would have discussed it to the extent they did if they weren't sure about this one.

If there were Jeeps at Croom they were breaking all the rules. Sounds more like Ocala NF. With a name like Old School Fool I'm inclined to believe the later.

Jeeps are not aloud in the riding areas of Croom Permits/passes will be issued for two wheel cycles and 3 and 4 wheel ATVs. ATVs must meet the following requirements: a) Wheel base of less than 55 inches. b) Width of less than 45 inches. c) Total vehicle weight less than 500 Ibs. d) Travel on 3 or 4 low pressure tires. e) Has a seat that is designed to be straddled by the operator.

It’s a little different when the large group of guys go on a Wednesday morning to work together. They establish a little loop that has some thought built into it. Not fully eliminating the chance of a quad getting into the mix somehow but it isn’t very likely. I miss the days of riders being assigned a number based upon points earned. At the same time...career numbers are pretty cool and very marketable for riders, so I get that. But single digit numbers for 250 class riders is bogus!

The track flows better but it took out 2 great photo corners. I thought they were going to put some rollers on the straight away in place of the Buckley berms but they didn't, it didn't get as rough as it used to when the riders came down the hill from the turns they took out.

Triumph should put Max on a 250 for west coast and a 450 for east coast.

Hunter reminds me of CR22. Incredibly talented rider who just so happened to be born in the same era as a generational talent. In Chad's case, two: RC and JS7. Hunter has to go head-to-head with not only his brother, but next year, the Coenens.

These track owners can't win. If we could just leave the tracks at their normal state and have unique conditions at each event it would be really good like it was 20 years ago. I think it would go back to highlighting a rider's talent on specific tracks like it use too. But at some point, the AMA became paranoid about dust and having every track ripped as deep as possible to hold water and slow the speed down. So these tracks have to bring mulch in to mix it to help rip it as deep as possible and hold...

Or leave the wood chips and sawdust at home and just let hardpack be hardpack? I don’t understand why every track has to feature a rutty, intermediate terrain surface.

The complaint is they didn't rip it deep with the mulch to mix it in. So the mulch was on top of a hard surface making it slippery.

Plenty of 125”s available….nothing to do with environmentals….its about selling you more expensive bikes, parts & labor…..the National program needs to work in a 125 & 250 2T feeder program, thats is one aspect where MXGP has us beat…..we should probably go to a 3 day National program, Friday practice for all…Saturday 125/250 2T feeder series and Pro women’s…Sunday for National pros only….IMO….

The exceptions basically say that since she competes in a professional series (the women’s pro series), she can submit an exception and they will review lap times based off of events she’s competed in vs. other qualifying riders. I’d say LaLa has very clearly demonstrated that she is fast enough to be considered. I know you said you don’t agree with the exception for US based riders, and that’s fine. MX races aren't cheap, but any sporting event or concert seems expensive anymore. As long as people are willing to pay, it won't change. Hell, my wife wanted to go to a Morgan Wallen concert near us. But when I saw the price of 2 tickets I about shit! But we haven't been to a concert in a while, so we sort of lost track of how expensive tickets are. We just couldn't justify that much money for a couple hours of entertainment. But that said, concerts sell out on a regular basis, so people don't seem to think it's...
