Agreed and coupled with that, it's a lot more fun to wring out a 'slow' bike than it is to be super-cautious on a fast bike, if you are unskilled like myself... and the majority of the people at the average practice track, let's be fair. And that's not a dig at anyone, simple fact is most of us aren't like the pro's, not even remotely comparable. A 250F will still go faster than 99% of people are willing to go on the track. Same for 125's, super fun and make you feel like a kid again, 'too slow' is...

Middle finger on the clutch and middle finger on the brake 100% of the time I'm riding. Been doing it for years and think it's the best way to go. Middle finger is the longest so you have more leverage and it's nearly eliminated arm pump for me bec it allows me to relax my grip but still maintain good gripping, I can also instantly react to using my clutch or brake without changing my grip on the bars and now it's part of how I ride and think it's drastically improved my riding.
