I can’t speak for Bodnar. But knowing him from years past, knowing his love for the sport and dedication to helping riders on the weekend and working during the week…. I am willing to bet nobody is more bummed over this situation then him. I am sure there are a lot of things be would like to say but can’t. If ever on the side of a track and in pain, I’d still take Doc Bodnar as my first responder over everyone else. The guy is a class act and amazingly compassionate. Bummer deal here.

I think the staff are under a lot of pressure to keep the show going as well. Think of how many times you've been stuck on the line for 30 min cause someone is down on the track with minor injury.

Don't bet against Haiden straight up parking him if he gets the chance. I'll keep beating the drum I have been all season, Haiden isn't that guy in sx. The levels he's above these other kids outdoors goes away in sx

1/31/2025 7:18pm Yep, Gold Wings came in wooden crates. Most everything else came in metal crates. My dealership sold BMW's and Ducati's and they arrived in wooden crates.

I remember seeing old setup instructions for Goldwings in wood crates and the older guys at my 1st dealership told me atvs use to come in them as well. Everything has been metal or returnable since I started (2008) except for the Navi and the XR150, there packed in cardboard

Interesting. I worked at a Honda dealership in the '80s and never once saw a wooden crate; everything was steel and screwed together, same type as the one in the photo. We used to have buckets full of the 6mm x1.00 crate screws and nuts we saved from disassembly and the crates were saved for salvage.

That’s because everyone was starry-eyed about the 4-strokes. Plus, DC had just voted/crusaded to kill the 2-stroke in AMA Pro Racing by refusing to allow a 2-stroke displacement increase in the rules. This was when he was an AMA official who presided over his own series (and rule changes) in which he was the sole promoter.

Top 10 SX towards the end of the year might get a 4th or 5th and could win Daytona who knows. Outdoors I expect top 5 every weekend and fighting for podiums and wins.
