Me and my wife went on vacation in Denver and rented bikes for two days and rode Rampart, that place was amazing the lower elevation stuff was better dirt. Here in NC/SC we have no public land for motos its all private except for OHV areas which are a fraction of the size of Rampart. But when the riding here in NC/SC is good it really cant be beat, the dirt and tight trees in some areas is just unbeatable IMO.

Columbia SC has quite a few tracks within an hours drive. Some great ones actually.

Yep I have a similar story. One of the most respected small dealers in Massachusetts was told by KTM to build a new store to house more product or they were going to take the line away. Of course they took the line away because the dealer can't afford to build a new building. 20 years ago, the factories were pretty hardcore - like Reed on Yamaha ONLY in blue for a long time. In recent years, it's been more like 50% of the time in corpo colors. These days, the rule of thumb is opening round, closing round and events where a team will have a larger in-person corporate presence. It's nice that they've laxed a bit to give us more options for the riders.

Only speaking for THOR - our SPORTMORE jersey is "athletic" cut (see also: slim-fit), so I personally size up from Large to XLarge on that one (I'm 5'10 / 195lb / dad bod), whereas our LAUNCHMODE is a bit more traditional, no need to size up there.

I have the SM10, and it kinda sucks that 6D and Astars are both still using factories in China for their helmets. However, I still love my SM10.

I was told the same by an Arai rep a few years ago, less ridges/sharp edges to catch on the ground and jerk your head/neck violently. The Arai is expected to “roll” better if that makes sense. Fun fact: Arai first got into the helmet business by manufacturing helmets for Japanese Firemen.

They do not. However, as an Arai person explained to me once, their helmet doesn't require MIPS the same way helmets with sharp ridges and contours do. The Arai is very round, and the rounder shape does more to reduce rotational impact than MIPS does. Think of it this way: Would you rather get into a 20MPH car accident with regular seatbelts, or a 100MPH accident with really advanced ones?
